OK. i've been noticing people giving ugly comments about hispanic and it really bothers me..but i want to now whats your opinion.

You stink for starters!!!!
Your crowd has contributed to our country going DOWN!!! However you have ran your course and will be deported. Decent people are tired of your crime, better to leave then be jailed or put to sleep by the authorities. You have no business here! If you were real men you would form up and go take your country back COWARDS!!!!!

Comments like this from Dante does absolutely nothing towards the debate about immigrants. Lets get something clear. We have illegal alliens here in this country, not illegal immigrants. Immigrants are individuals who come to this country legally to work and be a part of our culture. This is how America got started. Illegal alliens, on the other hand, are here, obviously, illegally. There are reasons why they are illegal. Probably couldn't get here any other way. I personally welcome any immigrant who comes here, works hard and plays by the rules. I am totally against anyone here illegally who thinks they can milk our social programs.

well,mexican rights.hmmmm,let me see.they are illegal,but,if the shoe were on the other foot,and we needed to go over there to feed our children?fact is,many of them are hard workers,do have much to offer,but sadly,have to go back home.now,if you want to become legal and take another short cut,our military offers you the chance.you can prove your loyalty and become american citizens at the same time.
now,like it or not,this is our country and you have no say what so ever until you come across our borders legally.your country(mexico) has some of the toughest anti immigration laws on this side of the world,and you take advantage of our laws but we get arrested if we violate yours.i have nothing against any of you,except you are illegals.i also realize that many of you are descendants of american indians that were displaced during those wars many years ago.in that case,you can apply for protection under that status,if you qualify.
i am realistic,and know you did not create our economic crisis,and in fact,during the job boom years while clinton was president,we in fact needed you to fill the many job vacancies.we did look the other way.but again,those days are over,and you will have to leave until we rebuild.sorry,nobody promised life would be easy.

I Think its wrong because they're accepting criminals why can't they accept illegals who are truly looking for a better future..plus theres other colleges..

Criminals are American citizens that paid their debt,or are trying to pay their debt to society.Sorry,but your argument has no merit!Illegals are not paying their debt,they are illegal.Again,invalid argument.I am not saying what is right or wrong,am not saying I agree or disagree,I am saying it is time to go back until we have more prosperous times.
Illegals knew very well what they were doing when they came sneaking across the border,knew they may get caught and detained and sent back.Just because they made it does not mean they can stay by default.Many are not who they say they are,gang members,rapists and other bad elements.Many have communicable diseases and other ailments.This is why we have the processes we have.To weed out the bad elements and to keep the good elements.Just by crossing our borders,obtaining fake id and social security numbers alone,constitutes a felony and is jail-able!Do you see the problem yet?You may well have good intentions,but what about those men that hi-jacked planes on 911?They used the means that Mexicans have exploited for years to destroy our nation.And,my proud Mexican com-padre',that is why our economy is so messed up,they almost destroyed our financial system.We never recovered and the people running our markets panicked and started hoarding our money.
We will fix this mess in time,but for now,all illegals,including pregnant women,have to go home until we can figure out a way to screen you better,and until we can fix our economy.One thing many Americans do not understand is that many Mexicans are descendants of American Indian refugees.And that they are met with much prejudice and are locked out of many job opportunities in Mexico.This is sad,but you will have to begin standing up for your rights,within your own country if you even want change.
Americans have a very long and proud history of standing up for,and fighting for our basic human rights.Many have died in the ongoing battle for justice.It is time for your people to go home and stand up for your rights,your fight is not with us,but with your system,in Mexico.

On the subject of ICC no longer allowing illegal immigrants I must say that your argument is full of holes, PROUD MEXICAN, but there are other colleges who still allow it. The people of this country (US)
really have no say either way what happens. It just happens and everyone deals with it the best they can.

It is an interview with a real person with real concerns, but I have to interject.

He constantly refers to the possibility OR in his mind the inevitability of a "terrorist" attack stemming from people being able to walk across our southern boarder.
I ask you, If a "terrorist" is determined to deploy a weapon on american soil would they not be able to FLY into America? If someone is determined to hit something in America, would they not be able to enter this country even if this country had a trillion armed guards at every conceivable boarder?
They would just fly in.... or be here from birth.

I personally do not believe that the incidents that occurred on 9/11 were directed at the US people but more so at the US Government and it's economy.

They are monitoring planes better.But if the article you are referring to is the one I read,here was the problems addressed.We are not proactive.In other words,we only protect against what 'has'happened,and do not look enough ahead as to what could happen.They have to stop these border crossings,although it is likely already too late.This administration has a more hands on approach.Instead of monitoring sleeper cells,they are aggressively arresting them.
I like that,proves people are wrong about Obama,gives us all relief from the burden of uncertainty.My belief is the Republican party was trying to bankrupt us in an effort to remove,and thus take our entitlements,like social security that we have paid for many times over through fica.So I do believe in light of the fact major allies and Russia warned us 911 was going down,Bush and the cronies he rehired from the S&L crisis days did nothing.We could have declared bankruptsy and been held under a completely different political system,not so user friendly.We are still fighting points from the 'un'Patriot act.
Just my view.The borders and ports are our biggest security gap at this time.
