I am doing research on a specific Boeing B-47E manufctured at the Wichita KS plant. The purpose of this research is to obtain photos of the aircraft arrival which from the photos I already have was a well attended Salina community event at Smokey Hill AFB.
I am a competitive flying scale model competitor building a pair of large (1:8.693 scale - 156" wingspan) Boeing B-47E's electric powered jet aircraft...EDF.
The reason I am making this inquiry is I have only found five images of the aircraft. I am in need of photos of the aircraft's left hand side while sitting on the ground, or flying. With as many people who were in attendence at the arrival ceremoney I am sure there were many photgraphs take.
If you, the newspaper, or its readers have images of this event you will share for my project you will be given full credit for your contribution within my documentation accompanying the model in competition.
