Looks like some one was driving faster than they were supposed to. Some one ran some type of traffic device (intersection).

Wow, how quickly can lives change or end. My brother in law is a teacher at West Oak and I can imagine what they are going through. They will recover and move on in time. That is a good community. This is too close to the holidays for these families to have to deal with. I imagine Thanksgiving and Christmas will not be happy times for them.

It seems like we're hearing stories almost daily of a loss of another South Carolina young person.

Let's be careful out there!

Condolences to the friends and families for their loss.

If this dangerous intersection was near a official with the S.C.D.O.T these beautiful children may still be here. You see it all the time nice paved roads right in subdivisions where S.C.D.O.T employees live why???

What I do not understand is that everyone knew that that intersection would cause something like this to happen,a dn no one ever cared to mention it. Now because of that three students that were loved dearly lost their lives because of a problem that the state should have fixed. Those students were my friends, and I think I'm speaking for most when I say that someone needs to fix that road before this happens to someone elses child(ren)!!!
Those students that lost their lives were my friends and Im going to miss them. I give my prayers to the family!

It's sad and it's hurt. People just don't die that way. They just don't. It shouldn't have happened but there is nothing we can do about it now. They should atleast put up a traffic light now because obviously this has shown that it is a dangerous intersection and if they just ignore this then well.......let's waste more lives. These people were full of life and they didn't need or have to die this way. And if just for a moment he would have slowed down or stopped all of them would still be here. Tears are being shed and will be shed for a long time. How do you deal with just one death not just 3! God watch over the children and the families and keep them in your arms. Never take your family or your friends for granted because you will never know who will be gone next. The fallen are just reminders of life and what we need to learn and take from it. God bless the families and the friends of Kimberly, Daniel, and Blake.

Wow...seems like everyday this fall that I've check on my native upstate SC, something like this has happened. There was the guy from G'ville who died from the fall at USC earlier this semester, then the 3 kids from the same G'ville high school who died at Ocean Isle, and now this.

Yet another harsh reminder that life is a gift and no one is promised tommorow.

I knew Kimberly very well. It brakes my heart to see her in that condition. It also hurts to know that my bestfriend was the last person the teens ever talked to.

You are the DA. Their time came due when they decided to run a string of stop signs on that street. If they stopped at the stop signs like they were supposed to, that does not happen. Their number comes up later...

Today's New Moon in your fourth house of new beginnings and family matters signals that a new chapter is about to begin in your home or family life.
