3 North Salem teens arrested on graffiti charge

those 3 boys are in my u.s. history class and i was wondering why they had an in-school suspension. i saw them the nex day and i was testing with james aka bo licht and i asked him where he was.

Spray paint should be taken off the market, or at the very minimum sold only to an adult who provides ID and signs a declaration stating what the spray paint will be used for.

Just because you think that kids and teacher from North Salem suck doesn't mean they all do, I go to North and I'm probably smarter than your stupid ass...so go mind your own damn business....

Looks like you could use some educating there dum-dum. Here in Salem, we use capital letters when starting sentances, and proper sentance structure.

By the way, North Salem is not a town, it is a neighborhood of Salem.

They actually do that in Portland! Spray paint is kept behind the counter and customers must show i.d. to buy a can. Stores are required to keep a log of who is buying the stuff.

I agree - graffitti is a horrible site. What's even worse are the parents in North salem who are arrested for DWI and their mug shots are not in the paper . Don't we want to know who is driving around our neighborhoods with children in their vehicle? That's worse than any graffiti.

ok 1st off even if spray paint is kept behind counters, theres still ways to get it...like people buying anything for minors, its the same situation. and i know these guys, they're really talented. you shouldn't be judging them just because they do something illegal, when really it's an art form. and you don't even know them as people, so stfu!

i agree with maureen; i know these guys, and have for a long time: they've got serious talent. and graff may be illegal, but it is art all the same. and if your going to be stupid and blind to something creative thats right in front of you, that's your loss.

everyone thinks graffitti is just some shitt that is dirtying up the walls of our bathrooms or the overpasses on the highway but really its so much more. To Maureen & Mimi - If these guys are so talented, why don't they put their artist talents to work and make some money at it? They could design t-shirts, shoes, sun glasses, etc. They could use their heads and their talent and think of a market that's untapped to show their graffitti art and make some serious money at the same time.
