I love it when criminals video tape themselves breaking the law.

Since its already illegal for illegal possessors to purchase and possess firearms and for people to conduct straw purchases (under federal law) there is no loophole being exploited here, just Bloomberg's goons recording themselves during the commission of existing state and/or federal crimes.

To repeat - existing laws already make these taped acts illegal. They simply recorded their own involvement in them breaking existing laws.

And, since I have to wonder whether NYC officials have any jurisdiction in Ohio, Nevada, etc, perhaps they're just plain ordinary folks from out-of-state, telling lies to private sellers (Oh yay, yet another existing law that they're breaking).

Bloomberg was circumsized by the same dyslexic rabbi that did Sheldon Silver, Eliot Spitzer & Charles Schumer.... He threw away the wrong part. Bloomberg had no damn business setting up a sting at out of state gun shows. He may wipe his ass with the people of NYC's rights but he has no business whatsoever in trying that crap in other states.

Anything Bloomberg puts his hands in is guaranteed to be corrupted. This investigation is a total fraud. They want us to believe 35 of 47 gun sellers were selling guns illegally to people that "probably" couldn't pass a background check or to straw purchasers. I would imagine these undercover agents consider any private sell of firearms to "probably" be illegal considering they are all New York City gun hating liberals.

Maybe this time the BATFE will show us that they are not a total waste of taxpayer money and the most useless agency in the Federal Criminal organization. Maybe they will arrest Mayor McPrick and his henchmen. I doubt it. He has to much cover from important people to ever get arrested.

You might remember Bloomberg pulling this same crap back in 2006.
After which, according to the NY Times, the Justice Department "warned in a letter to City Hall that such civilian operations risk "legal liabilities" and can "unintentionally interrupt or jeopardize ongoing criminal investigations."

So he appearently ignores that and spends reportedly $1.5 million of the city taxpayers money in conducting these recent out-of-state investigations into a matter over which he has no authority.

Maybe you'll learn from this how anti gun law enforcement is ?

Anything the ATF (cops) does is unconstitutional because the 2nd amendment prohibits the federal govt from regulating "arms". Their existence is a crime, AND clearly proves 'most' cops are antigun.

They should not be enforcing alcohol or tobacco laws, either.

"Because no records are kept, guns sold by private sellers at gun shows become virtually untraceable."

Any gun can be made "untraceable" by grinding the serial numbers.

Bloomberg, like many antigun crusaders, creates illegality where none exists or where it should not exist. The govt's war on guns has never succeeded and never will. As soon as the govt creates a gun control law it then creates a gun blackmarket.

""The gun show loophole is a deadly serious problem - and this undercover operation exposes just how pervasive and serious it is," said Mayor Bloomberg."

Bloomberg is a liar. The gun show loophole is not a deadly serious problem. Most guns (used to commit crime and sold in the blackmarket) are purchased at gun stores (or from licensed gun dealers) by blackmarket gun-sellers who can legally buy guns.

It is impossible to stop this business activity, and any attempt to do so only makes it more difficult for people like me to buy a gun (legally.)

BLOOMBERG ia trying to disarm us. If he succeeds he will leave most of us unarmed while the most dangerous people (which includes the govt) are left armed. Even in prison the most dangerous people are able to make weapons to murder people. Bloomberg is a threat to our safety and freedom.

I agree with you on 99% of things. This however is the snag. All polls over the last 20-30 years or so show that roughly 85% of police officers, nationwide, are pro 2nd Amend. It is the political appointees or voted in chiefs, captains, sherrifs, etc., who are mostly anti-gun. I served as a LEO for almost 12 years & can vouch for this. Whether you believe it or not is immaterial to me. It is the truth. The biggest majority of our LEOs are good officers. You seem to have a problem with LEOs, I suspect it is related to an incident somewhere in your past, however it is none of my business. I take up for LEOs because I was one for years and know for a fact that most are decent, law abiding citizens & officers.

Why can't my problem with LEO's be related to their conduct rather than my conduct ? Why label me a criminal or suspect ? Do you have any evidence of me performing a crime ?

I disagree; many cops are not decent people (many have Nazi values). Many of them are completely responsible for the gun control laws here in Illinois and in Chicago.

I've made this clear before more than once. I live in close proximity to cops so I know-of their bad conduct. I see and experience it everyday (police harassment).

After I hear of a cop who drives drunk and kills a pedestrian, I don't say (or think): see how phucked up they are. Rather I say: see, they're just like everyone else, not different. Not worse, definitely not better.

Last month, a Chicago cop was beaten and had his gun taken from him. I don't say "see how phucked up they are". I say, "see, they're not trained any more or better than any other person (I hope they catch the now armed thug).

Cops are responsible for most gun control laws. Why is David Olafson in jail ? Answer, because cops arrested him and provided bogus evidence to prosecutors.

I never accused you of causing anything, I merely said that you had an incident in the past with the police, I also stated that it was none of my business. I just do not like ALL our LEOS being smeared with the brush that you use on the Chitown LEOS (which is deserved according to the corruption emanating from there). I also will reiterate that the vast majority of LEOs, nationwide, are good officers & citizens. I worked with many. Also less than 2% are ever arrested for crimes, more politicians, lawyers, & preachers are arrested for crimes than LEOs. The Politicians are responsible for the anti-gun laws as they are the ones who write, pass, & sign them into law.

50% oppose stricter gun control laws

Just 39% of Americans now say the United States needs stricter gun control, as the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to review the constitutionality of state and local anti gun laws. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 50% are opposed to stricter gun control laws, and 11% are not sure.

Maybe you should shut your piehole and open your eyes to see what people actually do and don't support before you make anymore of your absurd pronouncements. Although, I am probably expecting too much from a low-grade moron such as yourself to actually find the neurons to think with instead of slandering others.

You're pretending it's the boogeyman that arrests gun owners. There are thousands of cops, just one of me. They don't need your help to defend themselves from just one "slandering" gun owner.

Those poor defenseless pigs, and the so valiant GPM (libertarian) coming to defend the thousands of pro-gun (grabbing) cops.

How do you explain, Libertarian, two young pigs tackling 60 year old Miss. Patty Konie, in her own home, after seeing her carrying an unloaded revolver ? They broke one of her bones (punched her in her face).

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Show me the video where only police chiefs, mayors, and union bosses bang on people's doors to search for guns.

Imagine that, a valiant pig lover pretending to be a libertarian, smearing one person claiming police harassment (by hundreds of gun-hating, freedom hating cops). Your Nazi values are beginning to show.

Why don't you wave your gun in one of those prohibited zones, see who comes for you, bad-boy (leave your badge at home).

I would say that is true, so I agree. Many cops are decent people.

That's true too. But the antigun crusade was the result of many LEO's writing to politicians asking them to restrict guns, and the result of police chiefs asking politicians (mayors and presidents) to restrict guns. I believe that to be factual. And regardless of what anyone says (or attempts to prove), I believe most cops will take your gun (especially mine).

What do you think of a cop who would ask if you have any guns in your car or on your person ?

Which cop took this gun-toting soccer mom's gun permit ? Or was it another union boss ?
