Both of these deputies have backgrounds that are not very nice. But, the excuse is: they work in a dangerous job. That is a flimsy excuse.
Steelman should have ticketed the driver, at least.
However, the community isn't all stupid. And we all will get a chance to vote for Sheriff again soon. Time to throw the bums out, and try someone new.
I'm disappointed, because I thought Stallings was above reproach....and now I know I'm wrong.
The Sheriff's Dept is still a law enforcement clique? I thought that was over when Wafford left.

They became police officers to protect innocent people, to help society, to make a better difference in their towns. And I can PROMISE YOU it was NOT for the pay. They get paid pitifully. And there isn't enough money in the world to do what they did and what good police officers do now, only to have to read and listen to the ungrateful, disrespectful, degenerates like you! You should be completely ashamed of yourself!
