Instead of building apartment for the disadvantage, why not take Tide Water Apartments and make them liveable for the people that already live there. It is ridiculous, how people have to live in that town, please make some changes to the living environments that the people in the black community have to live in. Then while you're making some changes to the "projects" start having affordble activitis for the youth give them games to play instead of guns, the crime in that small town has really gotten out of hand, the black on black crime has gotten completely out of hand. We need to take a stand and take back our streets. IF WE DO'T STAND FOR SOMETHING, WE'LL FALL FOR EVERYTHING!

I bet Tidwater Apartments wwere once a nice place to live. What happened? Old things can be nice if they are taken care of. People do not have to live badly "in that town." People in any community don't have to live badly, they chose to. If you think playing games with the youth will stop them from committing crimes, think again. Playing games won't give them the things other people have. They'll still take what they want from each other. Somebody needs to teach them not to put holes in their walls, to take out the garbage so they don't have rats, to fix something when it is broken whether its theirs or someone elses. Use of soap, water and morals can help a lot. Somebody's not doing their fair share to care for themselves. It starts with the family and their values. If you're going to stand for something, stand for something worthwhile. Using your head dosen't cost a thing and "the community" should be able take care of their own. Nobody was promised they would be taken care of their entire life and new housing won't stay new for very long if the people don't change their ways.

Did you actually read what you wrote? People in that town DON'T have to live there. You also said that black people in that town "have to live in". Please! Everything the do have is bought and paid for by the government (said but true, their drugs and clothes are also bought and paid for by the government). What makes you think it is the taxpayers responsibility to give these people something to do with their time, like play games? How about work? That would make good use of their time. If there's no work to be had, they could clean up their own environment. They always have money for drugs and gasoline. Maybe they could spare a little for soap, water, paint and nails. |
