You people are so sad. What business is it of yours if they want to have 18 kids, 30 kids, or whatever. They do NOT use our tax money, he supports his own. SO I say, best wishes to them. And person that says they suspect child neglect just for the size of family they have. Get a life. You apparently didn't/ or don't have a happy family so you must pick on someone who does. If people are happy with their marriage and children they generally leave others alone. All my children were such a blessing I always wanted another one.
Because half of them will end up on welfare, homeless and our tax dollars will have to pay for their sorry A@@ just like they dont tell you how much they are getting already from the Gov

Oh, poor lady...was it because the babies were too big and her uterus couldn't handle it? Just curious, I had never heard of something like that before.
She is short and her ex is tall. The first child was tall like his dad and I think the damage started there. Each child just did more damage. Her bladder had to be tacked back up. She wanted 6 and 6 would have probalby killed her.

I guess the big question is, who is paying for the support of these kids and the family? Are they on welfare? Are they on Food staps?

Don't worrie Jasmine, they are not going to deprive you of the food stamps (EBT) you are getting.
The Husband/Father provids just fine for his family.

I also watched the specials and I thought that he was in business, but they also made it very clear that they did not get any handouts..........and got to say the work fell down on many of the older ones which IMO is not right.......you have them YOU look after them, it is NOT the job of the older ones to do the wash, etc etc..........the older ones also help home school the little ones again NOT quite right, but that said this family seemed to one of the most happiest I have ever seen even if the older ones do seem to peel out as soon as they can.
Skipping way ahead to respond to this, it hits home, you know?
I am the oldest daughter in a family of 12 children and I basically had no childhood. Of course, I did not appreciate this fact until pretty late in life. You are born into what becomes your reality. But I had a child on my hip from age 10 on, that I can remember. When I was 12, my youngest brother was born and his crib was put in my bedroom. I was his godmother and took care of him from infancy on. Love him!!
But you're right, it's not really fair. And as an adult, our family is quite dysfunctional. There are siblings I have not heard from in years. Sad.
These people have made an insulated existance for their progeny, that will change eventually, it almost has to. It will be interesting to see how the children feel years from now.

She's chosen something different for her life than the rest of us have chosen. And has evidently spent her life raising 18 responsible, hard working, compassionate new members of the generation that will be making the decisions when we are in our later years. Why get down on her and call her names. Instead put your energy into whatever life you've chosen for yourself.

And how positive are you about that? The house, the children, health insurance...how can anyone afford that? The website the family has does not say what the family does besides selling real estate or finances...whatever that stuff means. If they are multi-millionaires. Good for them. But, don't you think that they are getting kick backs from all of the programs and books and other things they have done? Are you that dumb?

Sure, I had three kids and my last pregnancy was a set of twins. I was promised formula, diapers, batteries and other small things by companies who said they were going to help for the first year. I got a few coupons. But at this stage of the game for this family, they are getting a lot of publicity and who's to say that large corporations are not offering them products to endorse? I think you need to look at this situation at another angle. It is quite different.

I agree!!! It really isn't anyones place to say what other people should do with thier lives. Unless you are taking care of the children or supporting the family in some way, why down them. It really isn't anyone place or buisness. Grow up and care for your own life!

I think the kid that is responsible for that job has a name that starts with "J", but don't quote me on that.

Did Campbells soup make a new soup based on this? You know, "Campbells Chunky Uterus soup (with rice)"?
