I only know what I read and what Catholics have told me personally. I am not Catholic or Christian for that matter and so I haven't visited any churches. You don't need to..you know what you know; and what a shame it is.

You're right. You know what you know. I know that in the past couple years I've been in a dozen or so Catholic churches, in multiple states, and I've never heard a word about it. And not to be rude about it, but I think my experience is a little more on the "front lines" of Catholicism since I'm actually in church, as opposed to you. My fellow congregants and I still support the Komen foundation, and will continue to do so. And even though my personal convictions are pro-life, I have yet to vote for a politician who wanted to ban abortion, because I don't feel the answer is that simple, and I don't believe that we've yet seen a politician that was capable of doing a good enough job writing that legislation. The biggest lesson you can learn about churchgoers is that we do not equal our church. There's no talking about "what we believe" because it's a collection of individuals.

Do you know how much hate has been preached from our Catholic pulpits? If you're a Christian, your job is to love God and treat everybody right, not pass judgement. Remember that. Your post is a sin in and of itself, and you know it.

Well said..and I agree with it all. I am not pro abortion (although most here would say I was). I am for CHOICE-whatever that choice is. I do know of some pretty nasty stuff on Sundays though. Perhaps that's NOT the norm-but it's there.
