Graysville police officer

I am searching for anyone that can tell me who do I contact to report a terrible disgusting verbally abusive non professional police officer , if he is one , other than the commisioners of Graysville or the Mayor. I know they will tear up a formal complaint and nothing will be done about anything. I want to know who is there higher authority that I can speak too. I have had enough of this man and I dont even live in Graysville. I am not letting it go. I dont break the law. I live alone. I have never had anyone my entire life to talk to me the way this officer did today. I am sure there are others as me. This is ridiculous. I am not happy and this is the second time he has done this to me. Someone send me in the right direction if you know please. I understand that there are several lawsuits already against the town and this just might be another one. I am not out to start trouble but no one is going to treat me like I am a piece of cow dung and get away with it. I have had it.Who in the heck does he think he is? I want him out of there.

"really pissed off", I have a suggestion for you. GO PUBLIC. In the old days when something like what you are saying happened the Herald-News didn't want to even hear about it, much less report it. But that has all changed. The Herald-News has changed it's entire website design, it's online name, got rid of the publisher, got rid of the editor and has been constantly exposed. Those clowns learned the hard way that their drunk reporters and made up ghost writing as well as it's selective reporting has all but put them out of business. And I am proud to say I have helped everyway that I can in putting those idiots out of business and nestle right in to where they used to be, when the time comes and investments are aligned. Okay, that is a totally different story but I get fired up when I read of people being screwed over who feel they have absolutely NO recourse. My strong suggestion is to do what you have just done. You created an awarenenss of this event. Now email this guy editor@rheacountynewspaper.com his name is Crakston Cryler and trust me, he will print anything that he is convinced to be true. He holds no punches. Also, visit the website at www.RheaCountyNewspaper.com and sift thru the many articles and reports. Much info is posted there including how to deal with cops, the POST commission, how to attack their certification, etc.

In fact, I will send him an email and let him know that I will personally help you! I am a former L.E.O. myself and know exactly what "the other side" is like because I was there for 4 years as on elected oficial. As for lawsuits, I am going to assist the newspaper in showing just how CHEAP and easy it really is. All a person needs is a mouth and some intestinal fortitude. To really pissed off, I am from Dayton and I really hate to hear of people in situations like yours because trust me, I completely understand with how and what you are feeling right now. I really have no advice to give you but just here to let you know that you are not alone. I was invited in to a police station and during a discussion there (not an argument or me being unruly) the officer I was speaking with became angry because I questioned (I was not belligerent) I only questioned him, which I have the right to do. When I questioned him he became furious and told me to get out of the police station. If I didn't leave I was going to be arrested and he had an officer standing ready to do just that upon his order. I then went to my city council and pleaded with them to do something about it, at which time the Chief of Police, upon the mayor's invitation, HAD NO COMMENT, but then after sitting there I guess gathering up some confidence, nerve to lie, or whatever his delay was, stood and said they had nothing to hide and that my allegations were serious, and offered to have a meeting with me. The mayor then told me they would take the issue under advisement. I've yet to be invited to any meeting in regards to my serious allegations. After I was publicly humiliated that day and threatened with arrest, something was taken from me. I have not felt safe since. One week after speaking at the council and complaining about the police department, I was pulled over. Ironically, at the meeting I had informed everyone that I was a law abiding citizen and the only trouble I had ever been in with the law was a speeding ticket when I was a young woman 20 years ago. I wish you much luck in getting justice. If you keep searching,you will eventually find it becuase I believe the honest and true end up winning.

thanks for posting as i have been waiting for you to do so. I am scared of this guy. I was just over there to try and get my formal complaint piece of paper and noone in the main office everybody was standing outside and he was there. I left and came back and situation still the same. You know me and you know that I am now a widow. It twice have had this happen and seems to like to pick on women that cant help themselves. I am not the only one.

Also, IF you are going to city hall in order to obtain the so called "official complaint" form my advise is to wait. Do not show your hand to them at this point. Gather your info, your help and your thoughts and go for this dudes job! Remember, this is Graysville we're talking about. What is it now, like 7 bucks an hour with absolutely NO benifits? What self respecting QUALIFIED person would even take the job knowing that the pay scale is an embarrassment at most. Hell, as constable I did it FREE however, I knew that going into the game. Also, there is a big, big difference between elected law enforcement as opposed to appointed city police that are essentially corporate security guards with legislative approved "color of law". Also, these clowns enjoy what is called "qualified immunity" and many laugh at the threat of lawsuits. But with expierence and education of oneself we learn that it is nothing more than an easily jumped hurdle, nothing more.
