What really happened to this young man?

I heard he was a drinker and a drug user. Not sure if it's true. It's very sad when people feel this is their only way out.

From what I understand he worked at NAVCO.

We know this young man and it's pathetic that if it weren't for TOPIX we'd have NEVER known of his death. Regardless of the how and why it's a young life and there are family and friends mourning.

My son did know him and my husband knows his father. It's always sad when someone takes their life. My prayers go out to his family.

He was in a rock band for awhile

He Worked At Nafco. He was a good person, but had a few problems he needed to work out.
He was a fun person to be around and talk to, and was trying to get off the drugs. |

It was suicide....It was done in front of my son's friend and many cops were there as well.

Any newspaper articles on this? I don't doubt you - I'm just looking for more to the story.

There was an article in the paper on Monday. It said that the police were investigating a grand larceny and stolen guns and while be questioned he shot himself with one of the guns. it was in the OTH.

What do you mean "Cool!!!!!!!!!!"? This is a very tragic incident. I can't fathom anyone thinking this is cool! Please! This very young man was so troubled that he felt his only way out was to take his own life. SAD! TRAGIC! UNBELIEVABLE! DEVISTATING! But definately not COOL! |

I knew James when I was in grade school, we often rode the school bus together - he was a kind person, someone who reached out to you. I never knew him that well, and it did seem that he probably had his share of troubles at home, but he never carried that baggage when he talked to people, he was a warm and friendly individual. Although I haven't so much as heard his name in years until now, I feel this loss deeply, and I extend my condolences to all those whose lives are touched by this tragedy. Rest in Peace, James.

There have been an awful amount of suicides in the last five years thats for sure. Sad...

Can it be confirmed in court with evidence beyond a doubt that he shot himself by those at the scene.
