I think Michael Eagan is right. What goes around comes around. And a priest thats a person that many people look up to as a respectible person and try and be like. that just goes to show nothing is what it seems.

Mickeal, you sound like an abuser yourself with that kind of hateful remark.

I am pleased with the sentence. I am one of his victims in Mass and didn't have the fortitude to bring him to justice. I can only hope he lives long enough to get out and come back to Mass so i can face him again.

I wish we had tough laws in Mass like in Tx.

I feel very sorry for all who have been sexually abused by false teachers and especially bad priests. I watched a program on CNN a few nites ago called sins of the father. I was more then angry after watching this program. The priest sexually abused two young boys for 3 yrs. During this time both families always had the priest over for special occassions and took pics and videos of whatever they were celebrating ... During this time one of the boys was ready to commit suicide, this boy now works for CNN.

Anyway the two boys who did not know each other took this priest to court and the priest admitted to his guilt and only got 18 months which was shortend to 10 months in prison and the remaining 8 months on parrole.

The same day that the priest was sentanced for 18 months, in the same court house a first time offender of stealing something for a department store got 3 yrs.

Later both families of the sexual abused went to city consule to complain and change the law. This was in Maryland USA, the catholic church told the people to pray against the families wishes and wrote to city officials to not allow the abused families to get their way.

They showed film of the proceedings and the whole thing (stinks) both families were rejected and the case thrown out.

I was so furiouly mad watching this program, Im glad I was not there in real life.

I have known Teczar for years and he never mentioned being a pilot. I would certainly suspect that testimony by the alleged...and if the alleged victim apparently lied once, who is to say if anything says is the truth?

I hate priest, I hate religion. Have you thought about this? Religion alone has caused many to die in wars and other genocide that has been brought upon those that don't believe the same as others. And those people hide behind what they call their bible and their god. Every religion is guilty of this.

Yes, I have thought about it. I have felt exactly as you feel, sick of sin and deception.

A friend of mine told me that I had to get rid of the bitterness out of my heart. I never wanted to set foot into a church again, not ever, after what they did to me and my family. But she kept praying for me, for my emotions to be healed, for me to join other christians once more. It has been a long healing process for me and I suppose I am still getting there. I will always be very careful when dealing with churches now. But I know deep inside that there are so many people who go to church, who just want to serve God, and that they have hearts that love God. I am very glad that my friend kept praying for me.

sex scandals of priest are already widespread in the world especially in the philippines,my wife was also a victimized by a parish priest named fr. jack cabatu,may wife confessed me when i got caught dating in a mall in manila some were in ortigas.it was a real pain for me that a priest can ruin a relationship.for now i am separated for her because she revealed that he was her first loved and one of her baby came from that whoring priest.
for now i am now filling a suit againts that priest so that my hatred will be lessen and give lessons to those f$%^ng priest out there.
