I guess your one of "those" people who want to keep african-americans in their place. What..african-americans can't go to the mall now? They arrested a 17 year old from Freeland on open murder charge in the deadly shooting. Yes Saginaw use to be a nice place at one time but if you look at the timeline here, murders rose when crack hit Saginaw in the early 80's. I have read several of your comments and it seems to me that your the one that does not care. There are no jobs here. I notice people always want to focus on the black community bringing Saginaw down...it really is a number of things. No one says anything when a white man does anything..

...or how about the young man fatally shot because he was trying to help a white man from getting beat, or the white man that ran his ex-wife off the road then blew her head off while still strapped in her car. The perverted child predators(mainly white men). People need to start focusing on the crime itself instead the color of the person who committed the crime.

We are one of the most racially divided cities in the country and that's what sad. It's people like you who are narrow-minded. Maybe if the white man never went to Africa to find slaves to work for them...maybe this would be different. You fail to realize that your race is being phased out. We are the only country where people look different. China, Africa, Netherlands,S. America, all these places the people basically have the same features. Look what you have done to the native americans...you keep them on "reservations." That is why I do think people of different races tend to stick together because they all know that the white man is trying to hold people back. We often think that we are so much better, smarter, than anyone else...because we are white. Where would you be if it were not for the people of color who tended your fields and cooked your food, watched your babies. Now you want to complain because you cannot control people any longer. Don't you think that they should hold some resentment for the fact that you did not want them even sharing the same water fountain as you? What can you expect...we treated african-americans as animals and some want to still act that way but that is no reason for demoralizing a entire race.

Peter V. You sure sound smart...you must go to college? That Soc. class surely makes you an expert on race. Apparently you have never been to China, Africa nor South America and the Netherlands?

Once you grow up and give everyone a fair shake you will come to a conclusion that many of us "crakers" have come to. Until then keep living with you head in the sand and paying attention in class!

I'll give everyone a fair chance but as a whole or a group there is one that usely doesn't make the cut, unless it is basketball.

By the way...my family never had slaves....we worked hard on our own without government hand outs. Sorry to say that some racial groups do not know how to work. Stereo-types....lazy dumb..... if they were not true then they surely would go away?
