I personally don't have kids in school anymore. Sabinal ISD has made a complete turn around for the better. Every year it's better. Again my opinion.

Yes Sabinal is a great school. It has it's drama like all schools but for the most part it's a good school. It had a bad spell for a couple years but the school has made a lot of changes and is doing great. It has made a complete turn around. It has the highest technology that a school can offer and the teachers are amazing. No school is perfect, your gonna find something wrong no matter where you go. I'm happy with the school here.

Please don't come to this school. Talk about screwing with the class ranks. They play favorites and if one of your parents works there, you got a spot at the top!!!! That's just wrong

You people are simply....idiots!
Schools educate. Children learn. So simple.
The problem is the parents. Children having children and not knowing how to raise a child because their parents were children when they had a child.
Parents need to be all up the kids butts, making them do their work and study. Teachers can present material but they can't force a child to learn. You look at the successful kids in Sabinal. They work hard, do not get into trouble, are respectful to adults.
You ask why are so many on welfare? Because this town is full of lazy people who can sit at home and get a check from the hard working tax payers. When the government decides to cut all the free rides there are going to be some begging suckers all over Sabinal.

San Antonio should just buy Sabinal and use it as a landfill. Wouldn't be any different because the citizens treat this town like a garbage dump.

Are farm subsidies a form of welfare? Look at how much money this people get.

don't complain with your mouth full about the subsidies for one thing they make your food stamps possible and provide jobs for the few of us that really work. Oh and by the way, it is supposed to be "these people" not this people. You must be a recent graduate from our school system.

I'm not sure you made one understandable point. You might have attended Sabinal schools but your parents should have beat your backside and made you study. Then you might be able to write one coherent sentence.

And for your educational benefit, all TEACHERS are required to have a four year college degree. Sabinal does, as other schools do as well, hire teacher aides. Aides do not need to have a degree.

Now you have learned something and are not as dumb as you were when you posted your pointless thoughts.

i agree with you . And as for the top 3 school and have the highest technology ? you really need to get out more and look what other schools have , sabinal is top 3 out knippa dhanis and utopia probably , top 3 , not even in top 100 . And you should see what some of the schools here in san antonio have compared to sabinal , you guys are like an atari and we are like an ipod or ps3 , but i guess to you guys its high tech equipment .

There is no way Sabinal schools are even close to being better than the ones listed.

ALL three Sabinal campuses failed this year's 2012 AYP for performance in math and reading.

But don't we have a great football field and such

you said it , like football with a bunch of midget is gonna get anything , its as if these kids will ever play college football or anything , they should ban football and start teaching these kids who make cupcakes and get to graduate then tell people that everyone graduated ? whoa really , making cupcakes and jello in home making doesnt really prepare you for the world unless you plan on working in a bakery , i remember when i graduated from here in 97 and some of the dumbest people got the same high shool diploma i got for spending the whole year making curtains and cupcakes in special ed

Sabinal schools are now an embarrassment. They look good on the outside but produce nothing.. and the new sign. another waste of money, surprised they don't the board members'(or wives) pictures flashing on it, at least not yet.
