Ralph Brandt wrote: To Rob in San Diego. "Sounds like Micheal needs to get a life, instead of tell others how to live theirs." Last check I made the Obama Administration has not repealed the constitution and Micheal has the freedom to do it, just as you have the freedom to shoot off about him doing it. The big problem with this issue right now is over 60% of the states have banned the practice of Gay marriage at the ballot box. Gays can't seem to get the message that people in the US don't want this. Most would accept civil unions with nearly all if not all the rights of marriage but they don't think it is valid to lie and call what is not a marriage a marriage. Ask for something reasonable, you will get it. Many of us who oppose Gay Marriage don't accept the lifestyle as valid but will let you do it as long as you don't rub it in our faces or ask us to participate in the lie that it is marriage. If what you want is legal protection I think that is within easy reach if you ask for that. If you want to call it marriage which it is not, your goal may never be attainable. I'm sure my friends are just overwhelmed with joy knowing you "LET THEM DO IT" Get real! I don't like your lifestyle but you should be on your hands and knees thanking ME because I allow you to have it in the land of FREEDOM and EQUALITY for all! Shut up Gnatalie, no one is talking to you!

Females on that time of the month can be grumpy women, but with wife pregnant it is ten times worse. The emotional state is OMG! and the cravings. I had to make a late night trip to the store for olives and ice cream, ewwwww, I just said okay honey and got what she wanted, but I couldn't watch her eat it. LOL!

You also have local editions of several large newspapers in the Bay area. In Orange County, most people rely on the LA Times for national and regional news. That was the only comment I was making.

Neither is being homosexual. The St patrick's day parade staterd as Irish millitary serving in english armies as a way to connect to their Irish heritage. It became bigger as the years went by and Irish immigrants wanted to show their pride. Although I understand you being proud of who you are. What is the parade about?Where is your heritage?Where did you come from?I am confused a bit as to how you compare to immigrants who are celebrating their heritage and remembering their homeland.

My wife can't stand avocado's but loved and ate them every day when she was pregnant with both kids. Is your wife in the first trimester? I wanted to stay at the Hyatt for three months....she was nuts. Laugh and cry and bitch about the same thing all in a matter of five minutes. I stopped drinking a few years ago but back then Jack Daniels and valium played a big part in my sanity:-)

Nothing fits and the sleepless nights cause you can not get comfortable. Don't forget the morning sickness or ALL day sickness! But then when you see the little one, and hold the child oh it is worth all of the un-sanity one would have! Let me say that I am glad you stuck with all those mood changes and everything cause after all she was having your child! See how much she loves you:o)! Jack and Jim well they be friends that I haven't see in quite sometime. Might need to go visit windsore sometime soon:)

She cries at commercials, it is funny, but will not laugh at her, she goes postal if I do. Have to be at work at noon today. I love her very much and hey a great bundle of joy is on the way. I am so excited. I hate being away from her, but have to work to support the family, luckily her mom doesn't live to far from us. We been married since May of 2002, and moved back to San Diego from Atlanta, Ga to be closer to her mother and father. We moved back in 2004. She is happier, now. So all is good.

They are celebrating who they are, and are proud of who they are, just as the irish are proud in being irish. It is a chance for all who are alike to come together and celebrate, and their families. I go with my buddy, he is my best friend and was best man at my wedding, I am very secure with my own sexuality, married to a beautiful woman, and about to become a dad, So to answer your question how can they compare it to st. patrick s day parade, it is two types of people celebrating their proudness of who they are. I think all the homophobes are weak in their own sexuality, and it all boils down to what those do behind closed doors, and I find it very disturbing that many straights think about that, to me that is perversion, so let people live their lives the best way that is right for them, and stay out of their bedrooms. Why does it bother you so much that Tom wants to marry Henry, or Sally wants to marry Jane, who are they hurting if they get married, it doesn't really effect you or your life, has those that are already married hurting you now. All human beings have the right to be happy, and the right to chose who is best to share their lives with, just as it is a right you have. I have a hard time how others get to have a say in this matter.

With that I live fairly close to San Francisco and not all gay couples are keeping it behind closed doors. Now not all heteros are either but the majority when in San Fran are gay couple freely expressing their love in plain view of my children. That is the only time I personally have a problem with Couples of any sort but specifically in San Fran
