Dear Tabloid Toni,

Your conjured up right wing smear doesn't work for most of us on Topix either, nor most of the USA.

Patriot, Marie, and other people with brains here -

Now that all the no brainers are supposed to cease talking to me, maybe we can have a conversation. Did you read the article about Obama visiting Arlington Cemetery on Veterans' Day and his chance meeting with the man who was there to honor a friend? Very good article and very good impressions. It is heartening to get back to real people with real feelings and concerns and touch base with goodness again.

It is nice to see a President who interacts with real people and recognizes the costs of war. We have wittnessed those who have tried to hide from those costs by ignoring the sacrifices and hiding the coffins.

He's actually 50% black and 50% white if you want to be genetically accurate.

If 1 parent is black and the other is white, their progeny/offspring will be 1/2 black and 1/2 white. Simple as that!

Keep telling yourself that Liberalism is working. America has awakened to the mess they bought, and 2010 and 2012 will correct that mistake. Until then keep smearing that "black face" of liberalism all over yourself. Maybe Banjo lips, XTP comic hour and you can go on tour...carnival tour that is.

No matter what Tabloid Toni writes. We know that the RW agenda failed. And we know why it failed. "Tabloid Toni" I think that is the best description yet.

I know one thing for sure - you aren't working.

Letter: Obama presidency a disaster
Chico Enterprise-Record
Posted: 10/31/2009 12:00:00 AM PDT

We're having a forced introduction to socialism and I have to ask, "How's that hope and change working out"?

Nancy Pelosi announced that Congress will not abide by any option other than a government health care plan. Pelosi continues to push Obama care forward to the dismay of the American public. So far all this change is making me ill.

President Barack Obama has bitten off more than he can chew. Will he soon come to realize that being president requires more than riding around in a big private jet and making speeches. It's chilling to know he appointed generals and cabinet secretaries to perform specific tactical functions and for months has continued to ignore their advice. Has he forgotten that one of his most important jobs is to keep us out of harm's way?

On-the-job training is not for the president of the United States. Obama voted "present" more often than not as a state legislator and didn't vote 24 percent of the time as a U.S. senator. His voting record shows he lacks strong decision-making skills.

So who is making all the decisions for Obama and pulling the strings of this puppet president? How about Anita "Doom" Dunn, communications director, who recently stated how she admired Chinese Communist Mao and Rahm "Robber" Emanuel his chief-of-staff who sends dead fish to his enemies. Now we throw in John Kerry, Harry Reid, Pelosi and David "Broken" Axelrod and, this, folks, is a recipe for disaster.

Marie,

Please! You and I both know you slandered Bush and his administration unmercifully prior to, and during the fall campaign.

You wrote:

"I didn't slander Dubya or his administration"

WHAT DO YOU CALL THIS?

You wrote:

"Speaking for myself, I find that while I was so disgusted with Dubya..........and found him and several in his administration at least "CRIMINAL" and leaning way to the right and in the DIRECTION of fascism,....."

You said you only wrote that which was fact?

I guess I missed the trials for Bush and his administration. I suppose I wasn't listening to the news when it came out that "they" were all indicted.

Or isn't it true what you wrote was what you felt, or thought, or you were inclined to believe, BUT NOT FACT?

If what you wrote was fact there would have been criminal actin taken against of Dubya, as you like to call him.

You wrote your definition of slander is different than xtp's.

Uh, sorry Charlie, but words have meaning, and the meaning of those words are not subject to individual tastes, otherwise we would never be able to communicate effectively.

You know, as we're doing now?

Here's the meaning of SLANDER:
1. The utterance of false charges or misrespresentations which defame and damage anothers reputation 2. a false and defamatory oral statement about a person. Compare: LIBEL

That is the meaning of the word. Not Marie's or xtp's version of the definition.

Now, that is precisely what you've done concerning Pres. Bush. And I don't think with any credibility you can deny that.

And I could go back, as we all have from time to time, to post your quotes from last year.

We don't want that do we?

People voted for Obama out of apathy over Bush years. Little did they know sometimes you can get worse that you had....and we did. Banjo Lips you are over compensating again..we have made allowances for the vacancy between your ears.
