Waurika Police

What happened regarding the dismissal of the Waurika police? I have not seen anything published yet.

All I know is right now they only have two police officers working all of Waurika, Ok.

Waurika...has not always been in such a hard situation. But as far back as I can remember (mid 60's) the police have abused power. Just my opinion.

Not so true about police abusing power, But in the last (8)yrs or so the situation has gotten worse, The Sheriff's dept has not only abused power it has become the D A's personal puppet.

Hi John, Been a long time. I worked there for over 10 years and never abused my power. Maybe there were some that did. But I got pushed out by city hall and that is where the problem comes from

I have lived in Waurika for over 3 years now and I have seen some corruption going on from a couple of city officers here.I will not mention no names because it will only cause alot of bashing to go on here. I do know this much usually from 3am on here there is no city officer on duty and if you need them you have to wake them up out of bed and they act like they get mad about it. There is alot of druggies roams around on the street where i live and there is a city officer that lives across the street from where I live.Also people use our street for a race track all hours of the day and night. God forbid, if there was a child out there for they would for sure run over them.

Alot to put it as simply as I can from the drug cooking by deputies to the people involved, Including people still in office.

Dennis Gay was ran out of Carter County for several reasons and now he is doing and has been doing the same in Jefferson County for close to ten years, You can go to Church and put on a act but when the day is over you are still a piece of trash. The good people of Jefferson County should wake up before this IDIOT does get in a position where he can really hurt people, Same thing with Burns he was also ran out of Carter County and now we have them both! IT TRULY IS SAD!!!!
