The good ole girls of Bennington! Remember the cat fights the girls use to have in the ball field between Gage and Coolidge back in the 60's and 70's! Actually they still have them there! GROW UP!

I doubt they were bringing knifes then. If these kids are fighting over name calling and text messages I wonder how far they will go if something serious puts a bee in their bonnet. Sounds like they all need anger management and some physchiatric help. I still haven't figured out why they call it pleasant street, I've heard nothing pleasant about it. Maybe degenerate street would be better.

There is something obviously wrong with this girl, to be involved in so many knive fights. I think she needs to go away and get help or she will end up killing someone.

I'll agree with you here... Back then there was no need for
knifes because the girls had nails and "TEETH" for protection.

Real nice. When you let slum lords take over your town, and set policy, and keep out jobs, and do nothing but try to protect their own slum properties and their businesses of selling 40-ouncers and rolling papers to these people, this is what you get. I was stopped in traffic in front of Ryan's today and the civic leaders across the street were out on their porch, one of them openly taking slugs from a wine bottle. So it's not just Pleasant Street.

You mean, "NOT SO PLEASANT STREET". I would pay good money to have the Town legally change the name of Pleasant St to that. I think that each street should have a respective name, depicting the neighborhood. Don't forget that alcoholism is a disability, all you need to do is drink your self into oblivion and you too can sit on your butt all day and collect from the working people. This State/Country is really making it easier/more desireable to be a dredge on society rather a positive member. Where is this world going???

Yes it's a shame those houses (a part of Bennington history)have been made into housing for people who have no self-respect let alone respect the property they live in. Why would a landlord want to invest money into a place when he knows the tenant is just going to destroy it. Not every family on pleasant street fits that catgory but the ones that should be put out with the trash have given that area a bad name.
