What is the orangey yellow brownish smoke that comes form that place and crosses the 68/80 bypass early in the mornings and late in the afternoon? Is it toxic to us that drive this route? Who should be supervising this and is there any ways to find out what is being burned?

if i was a guessing man i would say this is dust floating through the atmosphere. BUT IM LIKE YOU I HOPE THIS DUST AINT DANGEROUS TO BREATHE!!

What difference does it make folks, we have other factories around the area sending up hazardous, toxic smoke too. Look down toward Muhlingburg Co. at Paradise, talk about brown smoke! It travels through Logan Co. also.

I was just wondering what it was since it isn't burning balck or white or gray smoke. This smoke looks toxic!

The smoke you see at Cumberland is us torching metal to make it smaller to sell to the mills. It turns a different color because it is heated so high to be able to cut. This is not toxic. The EPA air quality has been to Cumberland and has found no problem.
