CONCERNED PARENT Russell Springs, KY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Oct 2, 2007 I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU PARENTS OUT THERE THAT HAVE CHILDREN THAT ARE IN TROUBLE AN IN THE COURT SYSTEM OR JUST HAVING PROBLEMS IN SCHOOL HAVE YOU HEARD OF BLUEGRASS CHALLENGE ACADEMY? IT IS IN FORTKNOX ON THE ARMY BASE IT IS FOR TEENS 13-18 THAT ARE HAVING PROBLEMS MY SON IS THERE NOW AN I THINK IT IS REALLY A GREAT PLACE THE KIDS ARE THERE FOR 22 WEEKS THEN GRADUATE...I HAVE SEEN SUCH A BIG CHANGE IN MY SON I JUST WANTED TO HELP ANY PARENT THAT WANTS TO LOOK INTO THE PROGRAM

If anything, I would say a few might get scared straight, which isn't a bad thing! My son just started at BCA Jan.19,08 and I'm sure if he got beat I would be the first to know!! I hope and pray for the very best of each boy/girl that is attending BCA!! I MISS & LOVE YOU B.C!!!

He has had a bad problem with stealing (money , food anything he gets his hands on) and lying and making up huge stories to make himself look good. I am at my wits end I need to do something before he ends up in prison.

I got my GED and I took college classes. Now I am back in high school and getting ready to leave for the navy to become a diver.

I'm in the marine corps reserves and let me tell you, BCA is nothing like boot camp. They scream and scare you into listening. But just like BCA, it felt so bad to graduate. For all who think that this place is a joke, you are the joke!! This place was the best thing for me!! I am the best I have ever been. To parents who have a child that needs help, please the Academy will do it for them. TRUST ME!!!!
