Ms Perry County Idol

Benjamin Lowder, won the Perry County Idol in 2007?! Apparently the judges had smoked more marijuana than he has! Geesh!

You Got That Right

Trust me, I saw the whole thing. And I'll never forget it.

He screwed up his songs and had to start over in the very first round. He screwed up the national anthem. And in the finals he screwed up the lics his did from various songs.

Now you know why they no longer have the contest.
Good job judges. Good job whoever first started smoking pot.

Morgan County Star Power

Let me tell you, I watched the contestants in the most recent Morgan County Star Power and the judges there were in another world also. They sent through people who couldnt remember their words and turned away some really good singers.

Who ever you guys were, please understand that we in the audience really enjoyed your talent.

I was searching for the PC Idol contest to see if they were having it for 2009 when I came across these postings.
I remember that year when that guy won the contest with the guitar. Dont get me wrong, he was a good guitar player but being a guitar player for more than 20 years, the poor fella certainly would not have won a guitar contest for sure.
That year there were 2 of 3 judges who didnt show up. A woman and her cousin were asked to help out with the judging at the last minute. One person simply came there to see the animals. She had no business being a judge. It was certainly a disaster I agree.

Yoyos, guitars, old, young...the fair board needed to do this right. It was really kind of neat to watch that contest each year until it was taken too lightly by the organizers.
