You're right, Michael hasn't accomplished half of what Brad has...he's accomplished a zillion times more. He never said he hadn't made mistakes. Learn from them. I applaud this powerhouse for speaking out. We're all sick to death of the pretty boy and the vampiress news. Jen is better off. Kudos to Michael Douglas..a powerhouse with class!

Micheal is 61 and more experienced in life than brad, as some of you here say, he was a sex addict, he's therefore
talking from experience and knows more about women. Brad is a lucky guy to have someone like mike to care enough to comment. He should take these comments seriously, these are words from a guy who has wisdom!!

who cares if he talks smack about bp&aj but he should leave the kids out of it,i'm sure he wouldn't like it if someone degraded his children as not worthy.it just makes no sense?he works for the un also,he isn't suppose to preach hate toward kids,whats wrong with him,let him blab on about relationships even though his weren't all that great,but geez old timer leave the children out of it!!

My point is that he has no room to even question why Brad left a beautiful woman like Jennifer. Michael's first wife was very beautiful, when she was young. But I guess once she aged she just wasn't beautiful enough for him anymore. So far as I'm concerned he has no credibilty and no room to make any kind of commentary whatsoever. He dumped his wife of how many years then got a wife young enough to be his daughter. That to me is a problem. He robbed his first wife of all those years then threw her away like yesterday's news and went and got a younger one. He's a pig.

Amen dre, Michael made it sound like those children aren't worth caring about. Maybe all he thinks about is "beautiful women" who are 25 years younger than he is, ya know both Zeta-Jones and Aniston were born in 1969. What he said was just hateful. Some people find the future of children far more important than the sexual attraction of another person. Michael even had to go have plastic surgery done just so he could keep Zeta-Jones happy. That wasn't wisdome speaking, that was pure idiocy. I guess he feels we should just leave the orphaned, starving and dying kids in the world go to hell and lay around on beaches with beautiful sexy women? What a jerk. He's a pig.

Hi Phoenix, I don`t know his first wife, but I only can say that I am in the same age like Miss Zeta-Jones and I am married very happily more than 14 years now(believe it). Believe me, I know the UPS and DOWNS in a relationship. Sometimes things like that (divorce) happen. That`s life.It is never nice and one (or two parts) are always sad-yes.

Yes, that is what I mean-we don`t know what happened neither with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston or with Michael Douglas and his first wife Diandra. Perhaps he understands, but we don`t know the context from the interview. Please don`t misunderstand, I only try to consider both sides.

Isn't this being judgemental? I believe you wrote a whole Christian post about how no one should be judgemental to Angie or Brad and how wrong it is. This is why I can't take you seriously. You have a right to judge, but we don't.

So, you automatically believe what is in print? You sure criticized me for believing what I read. Come on Phoneix, practice what you preach and allow others to have an opinion that opposes Jolie and Pitt.

As Alex says, play fair. Stop and really think about what you bash others for and you will see that it is exactly what you are doing. Having an opinion.

Guys, am posting again since nobody got Mr. Douglas' comment it seems. Mr. M. Douglas is a Super Star - a Hollywood power house as one of you put it nicely. And all this, in his own right! Who is Brad Pretty Boy compared to DOUGLAS? He's a nobody! Not only is Mike Douglas entitled to his own opinion in a free country, he should be thanked and appreciated for taking 1 minute to comment on this frenzy. Brad should be happy that Mr. Douglas got time to mention his stupid name! After all, compared to Mr. Douglas, Bradley Pretty Boy looks so tiny that I feel sorry for him already.

I wasn't attacking you, I just get tired of people thinking they know everything. I do appreciate most of your entries though and your overall openmidedness.

I don't think Michael Douglas was trying to attack children but the fact is that there are plenty of starving orphaned children in our own country. We should look after our OWN children in our OWN country before we go traipsing around the world to adopt children. How much of what she does is for show and to redeem her seedy past? Face it..she's no Princess Diana.

I guess Mike will clear this whole soggy business up when he gets around to it. In the meanwhile, just look at all of the attention. Maybe Brad and Mike have put their handsome heads together and decided to run for Government Office together. Oh, I predict that they will kiss and make up. I think that have their big plans. This is funny--his criticizing other celebrity couples. I'm old enough to have been around when Douglas was a young man. He treated his first wife with absolutely no respect. He was a serial cheat and his first wife had begged him to get help for "sex addiction". He was what I would deem Hollywood's worst husband. After his first wife left him the aid epidemic broke out and all Hollywood serial daters, including the infamous Warren Beatty, were now considering monogamy. Catherine Zeta Jones was "perfect" for Douglas. This was a young beautiful woman who liked to have sex at least, per her quote, five times a day. For Douglas, the sex addict, perhaps that is the real reason his marriage lasted. As for all the other couples Douglas named as failures, you have to admit they are all saints compared to him.
