Thinking people trust and love Michael Douglas. We can see that this article is just bait. It is an article that is meant to stir up trashy comments, name calling, and people of intelligence won't fall for any of this nonsense. Michael Douglas did not get where he is today by doing or saying anything that he has not looked at from every angle, and most likely had his attorney put through a magnifying glass to make sure that it is sound.

why does he want to stir up comments about BP/AJ? Makes no sense to me. I think he is appalled like the rest of us... I think he is at a point in life where he is going to say what he wants

Guess it takes a robber (cradle for MD) to spot another robber (husband/fiance for AJ) and a highly sexed cheater to spot another . Another plus for MD - he is accepted and well respected in Hollywood whereas AJ was a despised pariah until she hooked up with once upon a time mr nice guy BP and began her transformation into Mother Earth.

Michael Douglas is a man who has been there and knows what he is talking about from experience and has the guts and the clout to say what everyone else in America thinks. Angelina has a reputation of her own that should have sent big red flags out to Brad. Decency and family values are not one of her standards and all the adoptions and traveling in the name of peace are not going to erase her history. How much of her "good will" is "show" to try and redeem herself? Maybe she and her brother will both welcome ole Brad in the family with shared kisses. Bravo for Michael for standing up and having guts! Now THAT'S a true DOUGLAS!!! BRAVO! He at least has TRUE talent and is not a fly by night like Brangelina.

The couple Pitt - Jolie should be old enough to "fire" back and M.D. will have to accept too! I don`t understand that kind of agitation.Good heavens - show him the yellow card and forget it.*LOL* Sorry Mr. Douglas.*LOL*He is one of the greatest actor and will stay it.

I'd like to see the full context of his statement, because as we all know, the tabloids twist comments to suit their sick twisted purposes. I have the feeling they only printed a tiny portion of what he actually said.

Well he does have a right to his oppinion, but if this was the full context of what he said, then I think maybe he shouldn't throw stones when he lives in a glass house. He dumped his first wife and she was a beautiful woman. And then he went after a woman 1/2 his age whom he may well have considered more beautiful than his first wife. Soooo why did he dump his first wife who was a beautiful woman, I don't understand why he'd do that then go after a woman young enough to be his daughter.

Hi Phoenix, I see the same problem with the full context -I tried to find out-without success.But in another forum I made the experience that people don`t want to hear or to discuss about "background-informations, the story behind the story and not at all about "not serious sources", you know. I only went the short way this time.Sorry. And in my opinion he didn`t throw with stones-not in that case why people are angry. Of course he is divorced,BUT the decision had fallen BEFORE he got to know Miss Zeta-Jones (after my informations),he was still married-yes,but he didn`t divorce because Zeta-Jones! That is a difference. And-please excuse me-but in our time an age-difference shouldn`t be a problem any more if man and woman are falling in love.Best greetings,alex
