It seems someone has a copy of the autopsy report.
How about letting us see the summary?

thank you officer scumbag for your input. You guys closed the case without even running the right number on the gun to find out who it belonged to. Could it be that you knew who it belonged to but it didn't fit your paperwork? Weren't you guys sued back in 2002 for falsifying reports and lying? Aren't you being sued by several other citizens right now for police work that went beyond sloppy all the way to unethical? Do you want to talk about that too?
Guns are not registered through NCIC. You cannot run a serial number on a gun through that system to obtain a registered owner. Thank you Citizen Scumbag for YOUR input.

After three years of Warner collecting monies to investigate the so called murder, where's the report?
Or is David just trying to make a buck claiming he's a victim also?

I don't know if this case has been reviewed by an independent forensic investigator. But if the evidence has been reviewed by only government paid employees I would say that this, in itself, does not a case close.
I may be jaded but having been involved in the judicial system for such a long time I can assure you that "truth" is not part and parcel of the process.
THIS is Lincoln County, New Mexico. We didn't even get electricity into this area until the 50's and "justice" is still light years away.
And the father IS more than aware of that factor. So for his peace of mind independent forensic investigators, if not having already been involved, should be brought in.
The father can pay for his own investigation. Problem is he won't. He defies the police and the court system every chance he gets. He'll never be satisfied. As a taxpayer, the case was investigated, reviewed and finalized. Get over it or get out.

Perhaps it's time to alert the feds about Warners 501c non profit actually making a profit. Where is the money really going? Does he have the receipts to show the feds? Time to drop a dime on this derelict dude.

What is the name of his supposed 501 c? You can check on the IRS website to see if it is legit. Just search for Pub 78 or go to http://www.irs.gov/charities/article/0,,id=96... . There are a lot of so called charities in town that are not listed and have no charitable status. If you donate to one of them, you can not deduction your contribution.

This was a very unfortunate example of gross negligence with a firearm.

So, a few questions people want answered:

Why was the gun moved? The dispatcher at RPD asked if caller could locate said firearm and insisted it be moved to the trunk-lid of the vehicle, and out of the driver side rear floorboard. Caller even asked "Are you sure you want it moved?" and dispatcher insisted again on moving the firearm to the trunk lid of the vehicle.

Why weren't ballistics run on the gun?
Well, without any reason to believe the projectile came from a DIFFERENT firearm, this would have been a waste of time and money.

I agree that the investigation was done poorly to say the least, allowing the witnesses to leave with the vehicle that same evening (less than 2hrs after the incident) was a VERY poor decision on RPDs behalf, but believe it or not, RPD, the DA, and NMSP all came to the correct conclusion, Davis Warner died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound under the chin.

Any other questions, lets hear 'em. I'm one of the few people who can answer them with 110% certainty.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Taurus

Be careful if you're supposed to be saving money, because it's likely to fly through your fingers in no time at all today. You're open to all sorts of delicious impulses now, such as splashing out your hard- earned cash on little treats or big purchases. Indulgence is the key here, and you'll also want to push the boat out if you're going to a restaurant for a meal. You'll work your way through the menu, regardless of the cost.
