Please correct me if i'm wrong here...
Those that live outside the village limits are not welcome to village meetings nor do thay have a say in decisions concerning Capitan..
But Capitan has voted to allow Ruidoso to do the building electrical mechanical and plumbing inspections for the village and a three mile radius around the village.
Is Capitan now making decisions for those outside the village limits without representation?
Do those outside the village limits now have a say in village decisions. If so put it in writing.

You are not wrong. And those in the county (who Capitan now thinks it is going to control even more) will not take this sitting down. Capitan has a lot of 'splainin' to do

Mayor Hammon is a Democrat and he supported Obama so a power grab is quite expected.

We 'all' agree. It is true, the town is gone to pot and cleaning out village Hall is the only way to clear out the trash they refused to take to the curb. One or two can stay, the rest will go. They made their own 'hoarded' pile, they can't be trusted to clean it up themselves. That is all....for now.

Seriously, Mr Vestal? Since I rarely buy your paper anymore I was very surprised and then even more perplexed by your recent editorial that for some reason was not posted online.(Oct 5, 2011 entitled "Can You Hear Me Now?") I am very curious as to your sources and inaccurate conclusions, although it does not take much to figure out.

As to the accessiblity of the Capitan elected officials and how residents can call them, you are clueless. Just being accessible does not make for a responsible leader. And arrogance...it abounds in Capitan. Again, you are clueless. Or perhaps misled for someone elses own agenda?

If you ever really want to do an unbelievable and accurate opinion piece or article on the true state of affairs in Capitan and the real heart of the leaders there, have I got a story for you. It is a mesmorizing and spellbounding tale that...

...well, I don't want to spoil the ending for you.

Only for their buddies. They are the worst example of crony politics you will find. The mayor uses the police department as his brown shirt thugs.

That is just plain wrong. But not to worry Rose. Things do have a way of working themselves out and outing things in the long run. When you least expect it too, I am told..lol ! The big question is will the news man up and print that story? I know in the big apple they would!

fyi, its rumored some thugs wear blue polos.

The worst hoard is across the street from village hall's back parking lot. The meth head hoarder is an old friend of the chief of police. It's amazing who the mayor goes after to ticket when he has that disgusting hoard in his face every day and nothing is said or done about it.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
