I was taught to knock on the door and politely ask to retrieve the ball, and was never turned down. Never cut across someones yard OUT OF RESPECT!
Property rights are the basis of ALL our rights and freedom. Lack of respect for our property rights is the first step to slavery. Submit and let others walk all over you if you wish....O.L.
While I envy you your good fortune to have had such benevolent neighbors in your past, it begets the question: How did you get to be such a mean SOB?

According you, "Step on my property with it and at a minimum you'll lose that camera. What else you'll lose will depend on you...O.L. "

Having to put up with disrepectful juvenile folks like you!:) So it's too much to ask for people not to trespass? Typical, no respect for the law either. Yep, I'm a mean SOB, spend $1000+ per year feeding wildlife and donate hundreds of hours per year working with/teaching kids. Only mean to the clueless who should know better.

As for the cats, I certainly have no problem if someone wants to feed them, provide care, etc. Just don't ask me to take fruits of my labor to pay for it or tolerate their presence on my property. Those who let them run free have no respect/regard for for the cats health and safety or others around them. Your rights end where mine begins.....O.L.

And this is HOW you ask people not to trespass on your property?

<quoted text>You really think of yourself as some kind of badass, doncha? You remind me of the old neighborhood bullies with the "keep off the grass" signs posted in their yards. We always knew if our ball rolled onto their precious property, it was gone forever,..... a harmless ball. Well, cameras are harmless, too, ass*ole.
If you think that cameras are harmless you haven't payed much attention to the news or other avenues of information. Cameras have ruined innocent lives along with helping to convect criminals. Cameras are not harmless.
Secondly I personally do not take liberties with other peoples property. I live in an area that has limited turn around areas so my yard is used by others to turn around big trucks to small cars. And no I dont like it. The majority of these people have no respect for my property. They run over my grass plants bushes crush my drainage pipes then leave. I have on occasion fallowed them home to return at a later date to return the favor with my truck.
Guess what thay get mad dont figure.
I was brought up to respect others. If I want people to respect me and what belongs to me I must respect them and what belongs to them.

Most of us that have lived here for years know that trespassing could get you an unwanted injection of lead.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
