Interesting. Cant help but wonder if your one of the lying corrupted people I have on my tape recorder who are trying to keep what I know and can easily prove as fact, from becoming widespread public knowlege? If you are, then you dont need to worry about ME crying out anything to the community about you. I dont need to say anything. Alls I have to do is poke a button and let whoever cares about their kids or the community enough to check out the facts, listen to you doing your own crying/talking and judge for themselves. And unlike yourself, I dont NEED topix to publish anything. Up until the past 24 hours, I had not been in here for a long time, and probably would not be in here now if I had not been made aware of certain comments in this thread. Its people in high places with low morals, that very effectively manipulate many topix readers into unknowingly supporting whatever their personally self centered and self serving activities happen to be. Just in case you haven't noticed, unlike yourself, I use my real name because I have nothing to hide and unlike yourself, if I state something as fact I can back it up. And thats why "Dillusional" people like yourself are using anything and everything, including topix, to make me look bad so other people seeing and hearing the factual information I am showing the community, will still not believe what they are seeing and hearing. I am fairly certain that a person of your implied high intellect is well aware of the tried and true, and VERY EFFECTIVE technique being used to manipulate the many decent and caring but unsuspecting topix readers, but just in case I have mis-judged your intellect... The well known technique used for making people NOT believe well established FACT is called using "ad hominem" logic or attacks. If you honestly are unaware of the term "ad hominem" or its meaning then LOOK IT UP!!!!

Hey Dillusional.... I have been happily but impatiently waiting for your response. Where is it? Or should I just stop waiting because you decided not to provide another opportunity for a truthful response the topix readers will see?

Scott Markant was my uncle. As another has said, he had been estranged from his family for many years. I had recently begun searching for him, when I received a call from my mother informing me of his death. It is a devastating blow to lose an uncle I never had the chance to know. He will be missed.

I did not know him either, but for what its worth, I havent heard anyone bad mouthing him either, and in a town this size that says alot. I am very bad about being able to remember names AND faces. For me its usually one or the other but rarely both. For that reason some of the names being kicked around in here didn't mean a whole to me. When I went to the preliminary hearing I still could not put alot of the right names with the right faces, but there were a lot of faces there that I recognized as being pretty good people who are known to be quick with a helping hand and "go to" people when there is a problem around town. If the old saying that "birds of a feather flock together" has merit, then he kept some pretty good company. Not only that, but based on the witness testimony, he not only tried very hard to get things calmed down, he also made the rounds of other nearby buildings checking to make sure people he had not actually seen yet, were all OK. And all though it was never directly stated in this way, I got the distinct impression he had sent the girlfriend into the house more to get her out of harms way than to get ready for dinner. Its not much, but I hope knowing this helps in some way. Sorry for your loss.

Scott has been heavy on my mind for quite a while now. I patiently waited for the phone call that seem to always come few and far between..checking to be sure i was well, and reassuring me he too was well. The phone still hasn't rang. Having no number to call him and no address to write....TODAY i decided to google his name. Knowing he left Colorado with an ID in the name a Shawn something....i questioned myself whether i'd be able to find him or not. Sadly...i did. Under his own beautiful name Scott Markant. Today is a very sad day for me...I wish same way..some how..i could have saved you. I wish you were still here. Say 'hello' to: James..and Josh..and the rest of that wrecking crew......i find it utterly unbelieveable that you are no longer here because of someone else's hand. It hurts.
