He's a real nice guy that will tell you the truth which in turn annoys false teachers like Presbyterian Nathan who thinks he's clueless.

It's "Nathan the Presbyterian", thank you very much. If you are going to mention my denominational heritage, at least do it right. Remember - like the vikings? It's not "Horrible Hagar" - it's "Hagar the Horrible". "Nathan the Presbyterian", like "Shawn Heath the Campbellite". "Campbellite Shawn Heath" just doesn't have the right ring to it.

And I've finally been called a "false teacher"... man, what took you so long? It's been how many months? When will you call me a "wolf in sheep's clothing?" I understand that to be called a "wolf in sheep's clothing" by a hypercon CofC person is a real badge of honor to those of us who stand up to their bullying and grandstanding.

BTW, will you define just what exactly qualifies one as a "false teacher"?

Thanks,
Nathan

I did not come on topix saying "I'm a Campbellite".

You came on topix and said "I'm a Presbyterian".

I renounce Alexander Campbell. Will you renounce the Presbyterian church?

You're a false teacher because you teach and practice infant baptism and for other reasons as well. It is a tradition of men that causes people to disobey true N.T. baptism (immersion) which is for a believer (Mark 16:16; Acts 22:16).

Point to one proof that I "teach and practice infant baptism".

Ah, is Presbyterian Nathan renouncing infant baptism???

Nathan is a Presbyterian (his own words).

Presbyterians teach and practice infant baptism.

Therefore, Nathan ...

Soooo easy.

Try again? Ok.

You are apart of the American Restoration Movement founded by Campbell and Stone. Hence, a Campbellite.

Shawn why are you denying your heritage? Why do you renounce your heritage? Why do you deny history? Sad, sad, little man.

Did you ever hear that old adage that when you assume, what you make of "u" and "me"? You've been caught in an assumption, SHP. I've not said anything, one way or the other about infant baptism, and yet you assume that I "teach and practice" infant baptism, all because of the denominational heritage I claim.

I am learning a lot about you from this conversation, SHP. So, in a Church of Christ church, all people who assemble in said church must be in full agreement with everything that is done in that church? What if there is a disagreement? How does that Church respond?

Ok I will try again. Since you attend a sign-out-front Church of Christ which was founded in part by Campbell....you are a Campbellite.
