We were shopping downtown on Sat at all the stores. I was wondering if the city ever cleans the sidewalks, streets, or parking spaces?? After we finished our beers, we had to leave them next to the dirty bench because the trash can was full.
Just wonderin??????

We drove through downtown Saturday nigh with our guests from Austin and we saw a man urinating on the sidewalk against a vacant building. Perhaps he was homeless. I decided to take my children and guests to Rockwall for dinner instead, we also saw dogs running loose. The dog owners do not adhere to the leash laws in RC because we do not have any code enforcement or animal control. The violators will not receive any fines so they continue letting dogs run wild. It kind of reminded us of Tijuanna, Mexico.

Wonder if it was the same guy we saw taking a dump on the sidewalk Sunday afternoon? He was in his 30s with a long beard.

This makes me sad, in all my years in RC, I have never heard of such a thing on main street.

Was it in front of Luigi's? Cause it sure smells like crap when I pass there. Or it could be just the food.

Been almost 10 days since I asked about the downtown parking and sidewalks. Went back tonight and got out of my car and stepped in a pile of mud. At least I hope it was mud. Nothing has changed downtown since I asked. Guess noone from the city reads our comments or maybe they dont care what the citizens think.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Aquarius

Although you're still feeling sociable and outgoing, the Solstice brings the need for a little time to yourself now and then. It's time to temper your busy social life with some precious moments of solitude. Make sure you do, as this need is something important and life-enhancing. It will certainly recharge your inner batteries, which might be a little run down.
