I am so sick of going to Family Dollar and dealing with the long line of people. EVERY time it's the same deal, one register open and the parking lot is full of people. The store is dirty and the people who work there are either over worked and hate their job, or they just don't care.
Everytime I go in there I get aggrivated. Am I the only one?? It's convienent to run up there and pick up something quickly, but lately it just gets worse. We NEED a grocery store!!!!

The grocery store issue has been around for several 'YEARS' now. It's always the same excuse, "Wal-Marts coming", "They don't want to come if Wal-Marts coming", "Need to count the rooftops again", "Don't worry, they will be here soon enough and we won't like what they bring with 'em", "We got enough people, just not a good time. You know the economy is bad." "Krogers needs people that make more money" "Brookshires was coming but Farmersville was a better site", "The fees are too high for the store to come here." We've heard them all, so get what you can from the Family Dollar, be patient and most of all be friendly to the cashiers, they are just worn out.

Well I for one like going to the Family Dollar. Prices are good and I don't have to drive to Rockwall for every little thing. Beats buying toilet paper at the gas station. Think the cashiers are friendly. Know the manager is.

The manager is not friendly. At least not the new one. She rolled her eyes at my daughter and shook her head at me, then blamed it on a headache when I brought her rudeness to her attention. I will no longer shop in the family dollar while she is working there. I would rather pay 8 dollars a gallon to drive to the piggly wiggly in farmers branch than be under the same roof as that woman!

I have to have the best toilet paper. That sandpaper stuff eats up my bottom.

Well as they always say,'you get what you pay for'. So if your at Rockwall's Kroger, you get a smile and a 'Have a nice day!' for your extra buck. In RC, with no grocery store, you get a roll of the eyes and get out of my store look.
