Does anyone know what/where/who is it? On the 3rd time I passed by the sign, I remembered to look soon enough and saw that it is 3.5 miles south on Epps Road. I didn't see anything along there but the big chicken head on one side and the motorcycle repair place a little further on.

Thanks, y'all!

I know you drive about 3 miles south on FM 35 (Epps) and then veer right on the rock road from there. I was told yesterday that it is owned by the Crowell family - but I haven't verified that. If it's true, you could probably find out details at Shell.....

Thanks, Disco. I'm guessing you mean 2584. That's the road the Crowells live on. The next road to the right is 2591 but it's almost 5 miles down. I'll ask next time I'm at the Shell.

My daughter and I went on a search for this place this evening and had no luck finding it! We even called the number on the billboard and it's not even a working number.

Fish Camp opens the day after thanksgiving. It is located off Hwy 35. You turn right just past the Farmers insurance building on the gravel road to the right in the curve. You go about a mile down and there should be a sign on the right directing you to the business. It's gonna be a all you can eat type fish place open 4 days a week.

I will not drop a dime into that place now that I know who owns.

Thanks!

That's in a residential area. Why would you put a restaurant down a dusty road like your going to grandmas' house.

I think this location, regardless of who owns, will be a hard sell. We'll see.

Is it on the property where all the four roads come together and Crowell is on that north corner?

Wow - I spent way too much time looking for it. They need to put a coming soon sign on the billboard.

Sounds like the place should be devoid of at least some of the local busybodies and crybabies. Should be a good place to eat.

Wow their billboard is all wrong if your post is accurate.
Billboard reads OPEN NOW, located 3.5 miles off of Epps Rd, If I'm thinking correctly isn't the Farmers building after the curve at the high school? and the phone number given is not a working number

Since it doesn't open until the day after Thanksgiving they need to remove the 'OPEN NOW' on the billboard.

Seems funny how Hot Rodz is doing the all you can eat catfish on Friday and Saturday and now this. Fortunately Hot Rodz is easy to locate.

I wish them luck.

Well, we've had the "Donut" wars, the "Tanning bed/Hair Salon" wars, now it's the "Mexican Restaurant/Tamale" wars, and the "Catfish" wars.

Oh I forgot one, when the Boutiques came to main street, guess who put the same items in their window??? Ask the girls who opened the boutiques.

Why can't the people opening new businesses in RC come up with original ideas, and leave the people who have supported the town and struggled to remain open in these bad times alone.

Oh that's good. Hopefully the food will be good. Any idea if it is a private owner or a chain with multiple locations?

I think it is great that there will be a new place in town and what a beautiful setting! There is a large sign on 35 just as you approach 2584 directing you to the restaurant.

For all those who will not come because of the owner - the other post is correct - it will leave more space for the rest of us!!!!

I haven't lived here long, but what I have heard is that the family has contributed to the community for several years - good for them!

I just hope it is as good as Sarah's Fish Fry in Millers Grove.

In the meantime, if you want catfish close to home, Burgers and Fries on 276 is under NEW ownership and has a really good all you can eat catfish on Friday nights. They also do a $1.59 hamburger on Tuesday nights. I am on the quest to find the perfect hamburger and they are now on my top 5.
