pebble birch Gaithersburg, MD	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 May 19, 2011 Why did the SpringFord school board vote to hire a new superintendent BEFORE any parents or other homeowners from across the area got to meet him? Not a very good start here is it?

They learned not to repeat the same mistake they made with Padasak. 2) Hurda's contract is up June 30 and they wanted a warm body in there July 1st. Right or wrong, those are the reasons!

I did hear from several parents that the first meet/greet for the original finalist did not go well. How could the SpringFord school board spend something like $20K to hire a headhunter and then not end up with anything more suitable than a "warm body" as you say !! For $20K they should have been given only the very best to select from - especially in the current labor market.
