Six injured in brawl at Wellington High School

I remember when we got into fights at school.
The phys-ed teachers came out and broke it up and yanked us around a little.
We had to go see the dean.

Got paddled, usually.

No cops.
No pepper spray.
No tasers.
No arrests.

yea, the good old days. I remember back in high school, we didn't even have a day care center, and there were more stars in the sky then dollars the USA is in debt. Not the other way around.

This involved Tannoris and Anquavis. Anquavis' mother Judy Weston is mad because her son was pepper sprayed.

He has a cut over his eye and was among those pepper sprayed - an act that she reports happened after the fight had broken up. She said four boys jumped Anquavis' friend and football teammate, Tanorris Rogers, and Anquavis tried to defend him. Anquavis was arrested, because she said he hit the assistant principal in the course of the fight.

"The fact that they pepper sprayed them after the fight was over makes me very angry," Weston said. "

The school board says they are just trying to bring the bottom up. Unfortunately, everybody else suffers.

This has nothing to do with the public school system. It has to do with lack of parenting and children having children. The kids these days have no respect for anybody else just like their parents. And it is only going to get worse...

At least they're going old school and just fighting rather than shooting up the place.

That is what we did .$76,800 spent in private school in 14 years (Pre-K to 12 grade)
My son graduated with honors last year from H. S and is now attending a private University.
No, we are not rich people . We sent him to a private school making a lot of sacrifices and saving for the future.
and yes we only have one child.

I'm so glad my parents had the foresight to send me to a private high school here in Ft Laud. I've been to Wellington and Western Palm Beach County in general is a horrible place, white trash and plenty of uneducated low class people of all races. Well actually thats what most of the country is becoming!

I knew the paranoid idiots would come out of the woodwork. You think kids don't fight at private schools? It's not like you get a better education. They're BUSINESSES, meaning they're concerned about making money, not about your kids' education. On top of that, most private schools have religious affiliations, which automatically means that the staff, students, and parents have lower IQs.

You would be shocked at the number of thugs in schools these days. Many are over 18 years old and have criminal records.
