I know this officer, having lived in Berkley for 27 years. She has a passion for saving animals. I have seen her in action when a lost animal is found. She makes call after call to residents to ask them if their pet is missing. She keeps the animal with her, looking for the owner. She does everything she can to save an animal. Above and beyond to save an animals life is the way she responds. If this pit bull was destroyed it is because she has common sense.

That is what she is paid to do. Common sense is following the law, not breaking it. There are too many questions left unanswered, including the fact that the rabies certficate was sent in immediately, and that the dog was not signed over by it's rightful owner. There is law and procedure, not common sense that has to be followed. Common sense would put a fence around the dog park!

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Capricorn

Confusion reigns supreme today, especially when dealing with financial matters. You could get into a muddle when sorting out your accounts or when working out how much you owe someone, even though you may not notice this at the time. It certainly isn't the day for parting with large sums of money because the chances of something going wrong are very high.
