Mississippi River heading for flood stage

Many tributaries are getting a lot of rain, but we'll just have to see exactly how much The Lower Mississippi River Forecast Center warns that the river is continuing to rise and may reach flood stage at Vicksburg and Natchez in the next two weeks. via The South Mississippi Sun Herald

How high did the Mississippi river get in 1974 at Vicksburg.I think it was the best fishing that spring that I ever had.
