The Commissioners of old foresaw the need for plenty of water. They built lakes. They served us well through the drought. When NC and other southern and midwestern states had 1 week to 1 month of water left, we had a years worth.
Likewise, if the commissioners of today would build a pool of Econimic Development, we too could get through these tough economic times....
Economic development is a new concept here... At least for the County manager and a few of the Commissioners.
