They should be in trouble for that. They are responsible for their riffles, what if she fired one and hit someone.

Policemen & dupities should set positive examples for citizens to follow but it is sad they don't. They are the ones in charge and sometimes it goes to their head and the rules apply to everyone but them. They don't realize teens are watching them while they are doing the wrong things.

This is my friend Vanda Purvis and she really is a cutie. When you see her picture you will understand why they took a picture with her.

Again people make judgments without the facts; the rifle wasn't loaded and she couldn't shoot anyone. Some one like some posters in Texas should show more common sense. Also the deputies at the most should not have been fired; hey we all are human and I do not consider what they did a firing offense. Doing drugs; stealing or violating use of force is a different argument and YES THOSE ARE FIRING OFFENSES..Make the judgment fit the offense if they really violated their dept. policy? We all don't know that; or do we?
Now take part of what is written; some one called about a weapon at a diner? Yet the caller didn't see the patrol car she was on and the deputies she was with? They were there from a training class and not on patrol duty; using the car for transportation is why it was there.. It is clear some one most likely a woman got mad about the pictures being taken and ratted on the deputies.
Law enforcement is a dangerous and dirty job; I also work in the field and yes we are human and we do things sometimes that don't hurt anyone; but may not be the best way to use judgment.
Case in point a joke was made in the locker room with a very large artificial male member of the body.... Hint Hint... The officer opened his locker and it sprang out.. Instead of whining to the supervisor or admin complaining of mental damages and PTSD; he grabbed it and started to chase the guys around the locker room with it; the sgt. opened the door wondering about all the commotion. Now we all came to a screeching stop with that - Daddy caught us look towards the Sgt..
Now that Sgt. could have done all that Political Correctness crap and wrote him up; but he didn't. He did a Mr. Spoke - da eyebrow.. told him to holster that weapon or get rid of it and turned around shaking his head mumbling you guys tear me up then he started to laugh. This incident is in the same catagory as the one I mentioned.

Boy, comments such as your really show law enforcement for what it is. Your story of a bunch of cops frolicking and joking in the locker room, just like 15 year old boys back in high school, really shows us what kind of brain power many of you possess. And, clearly, in your case, it is not much. You sir, are one dim lightbulb.

Of course, being a fellow LEO yourself; you blindly support your fellow cops; no matter how out of line that they are. No big surprise there!

These boobs blew it! And, that is why one of them has already been canned and the others are in hot water. The Taxpayers did not find this whole mess cute and playful, as you do. It is clearly conduct unbecoming of a LEO, but again, no surprise that you are OK with it. We all know that most LEO's hold themselves to a lower standard of behavoir than the genneral public, and your stupid bablings just prove the point.

More cops "acting stupidly" . There seems to be plenty of that going on lately.

This poster is exactly what I am saying about people like him. He calls me stupid as part of his post. As for horse play in the locker room; ya wanna know something? post your address and I'll mail that object to you so you can stick it..... I do not nor ever follow anyone blindly as your stupid comment suggests. Also you clearly are clueless as to what being a human is or what people do for fun; sometimes that fun isn't in the best judgment. If you can imaging the bad things a human can do; I have seen most of it. If you can imagine what it is like to be spit on, cussed at, hit, ; trying to stab you, or just plain trying to kill you. See people kill each other because of what they looked like, smelled like, had something some one wanted, seen people die violent and horrible deaths from burning to death in an auto accident; then your comment will be taken seriously.
As for taxpayers being upset; the locker room incident was while we were not on duty.....

Ok, what they did was pretty stupid.

And to The West Newton Kid, what someone does in the locker room on their own time is all in fun and games. You obviously have no sense of humor. Maybe you need to find one somewhere. And if you think cops hold a lower standard than the general public then maybe you should take over there job. They are obviously doing a better job than you putting themselves knowingly in danger ever time they work, and all to save stupid asses like yourself. The ones who complain the loudest are the cowards like yourself.

I have found out the deputies were turned in by another LEO - police officer off duty in the next door town they were in. The picture of the female showed her sitting on the truck of a patrol unit; no Dept. markings were seen; no deputies were in the picture. The rifle had been unloaded and made safe before she was given it. The most important thing was she was asked if she wanted to pose for the picture before any of this happened. What I believe what really got them in trouble was they had been drinking beer; I myself will not tolerate that; but this "Sheriff" fired personnel before the investigation was even completed; and still is ongoing. Again what they did was stupid and I believe no one would have even heard of this if they had not been drinking - driving a patrol unit STUPID STUPID STUPID; and no rifle used. Hey I have asked very attractive women I and the key here is KNOW to pose on my unit; I don't show any markings of the Department and or vehicle Lic., etc. The deputy the one that was fired was the one who handed the safed rifle to the female. I can not comment on their dept. policy in regards to some thing like that; but when the public is invited to vist a station and weapons are displayed they are all safed and yes people are allowed one by one to handle and look at them.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Sagittarius

You're in rather a downbeat mood, Sagittarius, and you definitely need cheering up. Unfortunately, it's heavy weather at the moment, as Mars slows and the cosmos rather disturbed, but later in the month is wonderful for you. Money problems are particularly difficult to deal with right now, because you can't help worrying about them. Now that prevents you seeing the best course of action to solve them. Relax, even miserable moods soon pass.
