My husband is originally from Austin and has since spent 21 yrs. in the Air Force obviously having to move around alot. He would love to move back home. I am from AZ, so I don't really know what to expect. We moved to Seattle over two years ago and I hate this place! The weather! Ugh. Lack of sun and astronomical housing and all other costs. The people suck too. Not friendly and think they know EVERYTHING. I seriously have not met people like this before. Can anybody give me the pros and cons of the Austin area (i.e. Round Rock and Plugerville) Humidity? Mold? Economy? Bugs (lol)? We are looking for a good place to call home with friendly people.
