That is, unless it was a riding mower.

Hey! His privates were covered! He can wear what he wants to in his own yard. The guy wasn't hurting anyone. If it 'bothers' people, they can turn their friggin' heads and look the other way. Tink, tink my 2 cents worth!

Maybe he wasn't walking around like a loon. Maybe he was just cutting his grass in a loincloth.

Heck, if the same guy, fully clothed, were cutting his grass with a stovepipe hat on (like Lincoln wore) there would be some neighbors up in arms about it.

"OMG, there's a man cutting his grass wearing a stovepipe hat.
Stand your ground!!! Don't let the kids see it! Pepper spray him!"

I'm willing to bet that not a single child even noticed the man. It's the adults that make a mountain out of a mole hill. Just as I said, if it had been a woman scantily dressed nobody would have said a thing, we have such double standards in society. Women mow yards in their bikini's all the time and people just assume they are getting a tan... kinda like multi tasking, but let a man mow the yard in anything other than fully dressed and suddenly he is a pervert. Yank the kids inside and call the law because the entire neighborhood must be in jeopardy. It really is nonsense.

It's kinda like a man can walk around all day long with no shirt on, his jeans sagging and his boxers showing, see through even and that is perfectly legal, but let a woman breast feed in public and half of society suddenly screams indecent exposure and grabs their childrens eyes to shield them from the sight. Somehow a man's breast is acceptable to look at but a woman's is not. How did we get this way in society? How did we become so ashamed of the human body in one aspect and yet so disrespectful/judgemental of it in another?

you know? It's the old double standard, what's good for one gender ought to be good for the other...but, it doesn't work that way all the time.
