All very good posts! However I do wish to ask, why it seems that if blacks account for less that 50% of the prison population,there seems to be so, very very much display of black criminals on the news? I dont just mean your bank robberies or 7-11 heists, I am talking about black on black crimes!!! Why does the media focus more upon the blacks and point out their problems, so much more than any other group in America?? After all, they are clearly in the minority right?

If the publisher wants to sue then so be it. However it was in jest and even if it was not this will be a boon to Obama in the sympathy department. Obama has a very high I.Q. and he and Curious George have little in common other then both are mammals.

There are paralels to this kind of off color teasing. When Michael Steele was attempting to debate an opponent at a black college the students were handing out Oreo cookies in a contemptable fashion. This horrible act was never reported by Baltimore's ultra left, ultra failed liberal media.

Of all the people in the world who should be handing out Oreo cookies snidely these were the most naive. The Democratic Party in MD has failed horribly in the Balitmore City- a place it basically owns and treats as its own fiefdom. Look at the schools, the drugs, the murders, the 'families' of its inhabitants. No the Democrats have no business making any statements about anything but being contrite.

Ahh...the joy of being able to call someone a 'racist' is starting to lose luster and impact due to the racially hypersensitive dolts replaying it like a broken record.

Let me help you with the math since you are way too slow. If there are in fact 300,000,000 people and 12% are black that is 36,000,000 total African Americans. Then if 1% of citizens are incarcerated that equals 3,000,000 in prison and 44% are black that equals 1,320,000 black people in prison. That is roughly 1 in every 36 or around 27% of African Americans in prison. I could look at the charts and know you were way off without doing all the math but this just shows how far off you really are.

A more fitting comparison for Obama would be with the Anti-Christ. His "story" is incredibly similar to the whole Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye series of "Left Behind" books. The guy comes from nowhere saying nothing but slogans, pretends to be Christian to win support. advocates One World vision and has the media eating out of his hands. Incredibly prognostic considering it was written 13 years ago.

Oh yes the actual percentage of blacks in prison is 3.7% so you were right, of course if we compare that to whites that is almost 7 times higher than for whites and quite a bit lower than hispanics.
