Bar Owner's T-Shirt Offends Obama Faithful

The man wanted to make a rude political statement with that shirt and making money to boot. Only in America. His right, his right.

You gotta admit, it's going to be an interesting presidential race. Maybe somebody could portray McCain as a sodacracker on a t-shirt. Now wouldn't that be the shizzle? Curious George could be eating it.

Since he stole the image from the folks who actually own the rights to it, then decided to make money off it it, he won't be selling that exact shirt for long.

He'll have to create another monkey shirt and claim the likeness.

Its idiotic for anyone to think this person wasn't trying to use the history of the image, and how it has been used towards black.

Lucky for us, he stole a copyrighted image. He'll be stopping soon.

He stated in the article he had already sold all of the shirts (50) that he had to sell....

The Curious George people are publicly disavowing that they authorized use of their copyright. Privately they are pleased with the free publicity for their products. A lawsuit would be costly and would fail to prove that their sales were harmed. The most they would do would be to issue a cease and desist order. The bar owner is also getting lots of free publicity. I may go there next week. After the crowds go down some.

The thing I'm pointing out was what an idiot to do that, advertise, confront local citizens, and try to donate the money to a charity that denounced his offer. That took it to a higher humor to me. His idea was funny/rude. It just starts racial "spam" that we hear everyday. People are so predictable, don't you agree?

There are places in the rest of the world that are a LOT better off as far as choosing their leaders.
