Review: Just Fitness Of Roswell

I dont know about this location but the one in alphretta sucks! Slow music all the time. Things break down and they never fix them. And they close at 6 on sundays.

I opened a membership with Just Fitness July 30, 2009. The gym was scheduled to open on Aug 10, 2009 with billing to my credit card to begin when the gym opened. I was told I had seven days from the opening of the gym to cancel my membership without any fees incurred. On August 10, I stopped by the gym but it was not yet open. I called several times over the next two weeks and each time was assured that it would open "in the next few days". I was told, I would be contacted when the facility was open for use. Having had enough, I then decided I wanted to cancel my membership. I called the gym and the number had been disconnected. I tried several times throughout the day with the same results. I attempted to stop by but was unable to find anyone. The signs said the gym was still closed. In the meantime, the account to which my credit card was attached was closed. Because I was waiting for the notification of opening, I assumed I would be able to walk in with my cancellation at that time, well within the 7 day cancellation allowance. Needless to say, I was not notified of the gym opening. The first I knew of it was when I received notice from the collection agency, National Fitness. In the meantime, I have been charged late fees for a service I never used and for a facility I was not even aware was open for business. I have made several efforts to speak with Just Fitness and National Fitness to rectify this situation with no resolution. This bill is unjust. Because I was not notified of the opening (which incidentally, was nearly a month late), the opportunity for me to stay within the 7 days cancellation was not even an option. In order to close my membership, they are demanding $104 in dues and late fees. What a joke.

Is the gym open now? I too joined the one on off of State Bridge, but actually think this one would be more convenient...makes me nervous to think that is how they treat clients. I can still cancel w/in my 30 day trial window.
