I have been reading many of these comments. The bottom line is four children are without a mom. Regardless of the life style she lived no one deserves what has happened to Toneika. We know that she loved her children and family very much. We need to focus on how to stop these senseless killings. Something need to happen we need a change. RIP Toneika.

When is the community going to DEMAND that guns be taken off the street? When are they going to stop settling for Menino's lip service?

Only the fathers and mothers can stop this...

My opinion many men in this community are proud to father as many children as they can.....yes, this is a cultural belief..

Many women, young mothers believe a child will fill a void and their pockets....you see the more fatherless children you have the more bedroom voichers the city of Boston will give you...
More food stamps (more $$)
More rental assistance (more.$$)
Free health Insurance for mom and all her children (more $$)

So, you see the problem lies in this communities value system.....

I have personally seen this, so don't anyone tell me otherwise...at least make a young mother place a birth control insert u der her skin while on public welfare....
