This guy's home was searched in connection with the crime SHORTLY AFTER the burglary nearly TWO years ago and they just got around to arresting him????? This, after they found incriminating evidence in his garage?

That timeline would never have happened on NCIS. LOL

"I would not want to be the people who did this," Father Terry Fulton said the day of the crime. "They didn't steal money from us; they stole money from God."
NO... God does not care about money!
The idiot stole it from the church.

Ok...it costs taxpayers a lot of money to arrest, prosecute and then keep bad guys locked up so they don't prey on society.
Given this guy's record, and should he be convicted here .... I guess that I am willing to keep him in state prison at a cost of over $30k per yr.
But, you know, many of the bad guys who will be released the next go around (yes, there will be one, probably in 1-2 yrs)-- he is the type of criminal who will be releases. Non-violent, etc.

Maybe there is a lot to be said about intensive community corrections supervision, like adequately staffed county probation and state parole systems.
Cheaper than paying to lock 'em all up?(which WILL NOT be done...).

This is sad, to say the least! I've known this guy for over 20 years, and this isn't the first theft he's done since then. He definitely has some issues, not only theft, but other problems as well. Hopefully, prison time along with some INTENSE therapy, he'll turn around. Unfortunately, at 62, there might not be enough time for rehabilitation. I would say, God be with him, but this time he may have even crossed that line. He can only hope for God's good graces and forgiveness. Good luck Jose'.

If you really are concerned for this guy and want him to get help you should call the investigating detective and let them know what else this guy has done. I am sure the other victims would appreciate it as well!!!!!

Was he a prison guard at CMF in Vacaville at one time.... If so crime runs in the family. If this is the same dude he'll use agent orange as his defense since he was in Vietnam.. He's used it before..

Unfortunaltley this man is my neighbor and yes has many many problems they all do it that house but that does not give him the right to steal from us or anyone else. We have came together as a neighborhood and have had to keep a close eye on him. Makes me wonder if he's the one who broke in to my home HMMMM!!! Obvisoly the pd wanted to have their ducks in row before they arested him since it took two years and numberouse search warrants. Maybe know our street will a little more safer.

"Catfish", you're a narcissistic idiot, enough said.

"Anon", If you really are concerned for this guy and want him to get help you should call the investigating detective and let them know what else this guy has done. I am sure the other victims would appreciate it as well!!!!!

Anything I would have to bring to the investigators would be considered "heresay" and therefore, inadmissable. The current charges of burglary of the church will be enough to put him away since he's also had prior felony convictions. Who knows, this may be a third strike. Apparently, some other posts are aware of his past as well as I am. I don't think he needs any more assistance in burying himself, he's already got one foot in.

Here's some history.
While working at CMF he was accused by his daughter of molesting her,,,,,,, nothing came about.
His wife i believe (embellezed) money from BofA and is or did prison time..
His brother and sister killed their mother because their inheritance wasn't as much as they were expecting.
His cousin is also a burglar, caught and is probably doing time.
He did get busted in Roseville for using his cutting torch and trying to get open the ATM machine.
And now he bought or stole another cutting torch set up and ripped off the Lord.. You do the math...
Under the new plan he'll be one of the ones released back on the streets to continue his saga.
He will also use his agent orange exposure to try and win over and get a not guilty or reduced sentenced.
DO YOU WANT A DIRT BAG AS HE IS BACK ON THE STREETS, YOU COULD BE HIS NEXT VICTUM.
CRIME RUNS IN THE BLOOD.
