Red Pine Elementary is in the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan district, not the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage district as reported.

Finally the politically correct idiots lose one!!! I feel sorry for the kids growing up now - the PC Gestapo is everywhere. Glad the school made the correct decision on not doing anything to the principal.

The principal should be disciplined if not fired! What kind of example is it to allow guns in the school. I thought they had a zero tolerance policy. What kind of example are they setting! Private gun ownership is a public health menace and should be banned.

I guess the only other option would have been to have the Janitor do it, but that is if any of them had the right tool for the job. Why are so many people stuck on stupid, he made a good decision and got a simple problem corrected quickly. Any parent out there who is now invisioning hoards of people bringing large caliber guns to the next event that may have balloons needs to take a deep breath and use a bit of thought and process as this principle did.

Do you think anyone associated with the Columbine incident would have been okay with this if Mr. Anger had been their principal?

Just think if a kid brought a BB gun to school what would happen to that student , the same should apply to the principal. Just wait tell a student brings a BB gun to that school and they expell him-her , can you say major lawsuit. It's a very bad message being sent to the students that if your in power it ok to do wrong.

He made a good decision ? ballons will deflate themselves. Bad Decision. Fire Dept i'm sure has a latter to get them if they have to be removed right now.
