FYI.. The woman in the picture "Lynn" is incarcerated for trying to murder her ex-husband and 4 year old child. Why are they being glorified??? This is a disgrace. Go to the New Jersey Department of Corrections website and you will see that she has changed her name while incarcerated from Lynn Kelsey to Lynn Podolski and now to Lynn Scot. Just like a sociopath to attempt to create a new, fictitious identity to to try and scam people when she gets out. She has also been convicted of committing crimes while incarcerated!!!!! Sure.. she's rehabilitated!!!! All of the money put into these programs are a waste. Over the last 20 years there has been absolutely no statistical decline in recidivism rates for sociopaths. WAKE UP PEOPLE.. THIS IS YOUR MONEY BEING SPENT HERE! Too bad nobody really cares about the victims. Having this on the internet is certainly not in the best interest of the victims of the crime. Fortunately, in the State of New Jersey there is The Best Interest of the Child Doctrine. No judge will ever allow her to be within a mile of the child she tried to harm.

I think Exit 98, is either Lynn's Ex, or his girlfriend. And for the record, she did not try to kill her daughter, get your facts straight. In all reality, she didn't even try to kill her husband. She was a drug addict, in the throws of addiction, and so high, she didn't even remember having the conversation with the "hit man". And I was personally told by her husband, that it was his plan to drive her insane. No instead oif just getting divorced, he was so worried about splitting the marital assets, his plan, as he told me, was to drive her into the nut house or jail, anything but the divorce, so he could keep all his money. I think hat should be a crime!!!

Liz... the facts of the case speak for themselves. This woman.. freely admitted in a court of law that she attempted to kill her husband. period. As she had been incarcerated for a prolonged period at the time she made this confession she clearly was not under the influence of anything at the time she admitted this heinous crime. Per newspaper accounts the judge referenced her "psychiatric" problems. It was also reported in the newspaper that she had a convicted felon drive past the child's residence with a gun seeking out her ex-husband... if you do not think that is endangering the welfare of a child you are mistaken. Also.. per news accounts this woman "Lynn" had been drug tested at a local hospital days prior to the arrest as well as just after the arrest and she did NOT have any drugs in her system. Understand this.... under the LAW.. substance abuse and/or mental illness is NOT an excuse for crime!! The only time a person would be found not guilty of a crime by means of insanity would be if the person were so psychotic that they had to be remanded to a state facility for the criminally insane.. I suggest that before you make any further statements you get your facts straight. One might even question YOUR sanity for defending this agregious act!

oh... and btw..I am a married woman.. no one's "girlfriend" and certainly not anyone's ex husband...I think you are somewhat confused here. I AM however, a very concerned taxpayer in the state of New Jersey who is appalled at the indiscriminant use of our hard earned dollars. This is a WASTE of money.

Liz.. I just finished reading this article and the responses to it. I also took the time to research some facts. It must be difficult for you to see your friend Lynn deteriorate to such a state that she would attempt murder. Drug addiction is indeed a terrible thing. From the info that I researched Lynn Scot calculated a plan of murder over a period of several months. A person whose mind is so disorganized from drugs, as you stated, would not be capable of doing what she did. She also pled guilty, admitting what she did. She had an opportunity for a trial but did not go to trial as she knew she was guilty. Furthermore, I found online a document where she appealed her conviction. Her appeal was denied. Other than what the criminal says, there is no evidence to support what you say. Everyone in jail says they are innocent. Additionally, apparently Ms. Scot was a paralegal working in a law office during the time she was conspiring murder. She had the presence of mind to hold down a job as a paralegal.. so clearly she was not high all the time. If she didn't want to be married.. why did she not file for a divorce like normal people rather than resort to murder? She did it with the hopes of obtaining $1million from a life insurance policy she took out on the victim. If you really want to help your friend.. help her to acknowledge the facts... anything less than that on your part is enabling her behavior and counterproductive to her recovery.
