Storyville II opens today at the Woodlawn branch. Above at left is a treehouse in the center's "Toddler Woods," which is across from a trolley modeled after cars that once ran through Woodlawn.
Are the people in charge of this project so ignorant of history as not to know that "Storeyville" was the red-light district of New Orleans at the turn of the century?
We've had people going overboard with demanding changes to school mascots and pro sports teams. How did this slip through?
