Observer, the reason he's assumed to be a democrat is because they didn't say he was republican. Let's face it, if he was a republican this would be front page news and he would have been identified as such in at least 10 different places in the article.

That's absurd. In an effort to be "fair and balanced," they would have included any identifiable party affiliation. The fact of the matter is, there is no reason to think he belongs to either party. Roseau County COmmissioners are elected without party designation.

Quit with the "they always pick on Republicans" thing. It's getting old, and no one really eblieves it.
