Mark Farner was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of Grand Funk Railroad. In 1970, GFR played at Shea Stadium and drew the all time biggest crowd of any concert in history beating even The Beatles. Mark looks great, plays great and performs songs like, "Were An American Band", "Closer To Home / I'm Your Captain", "Some Kind Of Wonderful", "The Locomotion","Bad Time", "Shinin On", "Into The Sun" and so many more. Don't miss this wonderful FREE rock concert. Come early. Favorite Long Island Band THE MYSTIC celebrating their 20th anniversary will open the show. Produced by Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano in association with Brian Rosenberg.
