The Local 4 Defenders were inside the Guardian Building in downtown Detroit Wednesday afternoon when FBI agents went into several offices serving subpoenas -- including that of Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano and the law and human resources departments.
All the info sources will close down now that the FBI has the case. Nothing will surface for a long time. Meanwhile, Ficano sports that s-eating grin as he defers any answers.
There was no written contract that could be produced. They came up with an undated letter written in September using two years old stationary with an old address to make it look like they did have an old contract. Also, Mullen received $75,000 in work from Ficano's non profit group while she was employed by him at the county. The tentacles of this beast are many and long.
